Both architectures of the two Microsoft platforms will probably be the same. They could really take advantage of both systems power but putting the entire team to work on this game and not spread themselves too thin and having to worry about horrible sony architecture designs of the playstation. As you know PS2 and PS3 are a nightmare for developers to work with. They could really maximize the power of the graphics, if they just focus on Xbox and PC platforms. What do you think?

Highly doubt that. It is possible for it to be a timed exclusive... but a complete exclusive would piss a buttload of people.

I really do think Gabe Newell hates the playstation brand. He's a lemming and hermit I think. So I think this is a good possibility.

Xbox platform is pretty much a PC. Both can use directX. Porting is pretty much like pushing a button.

And ignore the revenue of consoles, sure. Orange box and most valve games sold good on the 360.

I can only predict future events by going on past events. PS1, ps2, ps3,,,extremely hard to develop for, nightmare to developers. So I'm guessing ps4 will be the same thing. Blame Sony, they love making proprietary tools.

you know what would help them to make the best game possible even more? If they would forget about Xbox 720 and make it PC exclusive. Since you are obviously only interested in quality of the game, not the silly fanboy wars on SW I'm sure you will aprove :)

They should make it for PC first and make sure it runs smoothly there, then they can port it wherever they want. I hope it's light on the resources like HL2 was, you could run that thing on maxed settings on a 10 year old computer and it still looks as good as most console games this generation.

Porting to Xbox from PC is so easy. It's like pushing a button that's how easy it is. Unlike the PS3. You have to have a whole team to figure out the puzzle of that console.

Nah it would look awesome on both. The power of Xbox 720 is being underestimated. Have you seen Alan wake. Look at time times 10. Half life 3 on pc and Xbox exclusive to Microsoft would look schweet.

Make it as a PC exclusive then port adapt for whatever console don't care. Just don't screw up the PC version.

PC = Personal computer, can use Windows, Linux, MAC OS X etc... Windows = Made by Microsoft MAS OS X = Made by Apple Linkux = Made by Linus Torvalds/You To play a PC game, you need to have a PC, Microsoft doesn't make PCs, they make Windows, you can't play a PC game with just Windows, you need a graphics card, prcoessor, a hard disk etc... none of them are made for the PC by MS, 360 however, is owned by MS and you can play all the 360 games with just a 360. Microsoft gets no fee, and you do not need to have their permision to develop a game for the PC, using your logic Sony owns the PC more then MS.

I remember someone said this before but it didn't make sense. Out of all the components, what is the one thing you need that cannot be replaced by anything else if you want to play a pc game. That's windows. Everything else from video card to cpu is replaceable. :)
