I just beat Mass Effect. Should I open Assassins Creed or take it back?

So should i open it and try it?

I mean after Mass Effect I'm spent on doing so many freaking side mission and building my player?

Maybe AC may be a fresh change for me?

What should i do:roll:

Can someone on here help tell me what i can expect from AC If i am to open it?

Rent it, you'll regret spending $60 on a game that will only last you a weekend.

Which option has more upside?

You could take it back and just be in the dark, or

you could play it and possibly love/hate it.

personally, i'd rather find out for myself than have others influence me. :|

Okay, If you play it like a video game, you'll probably be disappointed. If you play it in a way that you want to get engrossed in the world Ubisoft created, you'll enjoy it.

I played and loved ME, and didn't like AC AT ALL.

Might as well try it, but I think you'll be very disapointed. It is hugely overrated on this site. I was pissed because I bought the damn game based on this site's review (I used to do that all the time with GS, and it was mostly always a good choice. Not anymore I guess.) I wasn't mad about the wasted money so much as I was about the time I wasted playing that turd. The game "bored me to my knees."

I opened Assassin's Creed after finishing Mass Effect, and GOD DAMN was I HORRIFIED at how bad AC is compared to Mass Effect.

Open at your own risk, I havent touched AC after a few hours of playing, it's extremely dull next to Mass Effect.

A month.... every day?!? AC has allowed this man to break the laws of time and physics, so maybe you should play it.

I got ACreed a couple days before Mass Effect released...

Played a couple of missions and then dropped it. (Mass Effect pretty much stole my life for 2 weeks )

Honeslty, I forgot all about AC until I stumbled upon this thread :?

From what I've played,it's actually pretty good (albiet repetetive:() but between ME and TF2 I really haven't had the time.

IMO, return it and rent it.

Mass Effect is a much better game. Do your self a favor, and play Mass Effect again on Hardcore with your existing character. The combat gets really really awesome.

Assassin's Creed seems great for the first 4 hours. After that, you realize its a boring and uninteresting mess. Mass Effect is a better game from start to finish and you will definately enjoy it more.

I rented AC and returned it after 8 hours. Just couldn't bring myself to do the same thing over & over & over again.

I played AC after playing through ME 2 times (halfway through my 3rd time now) and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, it is a bit short, but definitely worth playing.

i hated AC. Played through half the game and traded it in. Its too repetitive and boring really. Pickpocket this guy. Now i can go assassinate this guy. Wow i get an achievement. Go back to the castle and talk to the master. Now i have to travel 10 minutes to this city filled with a bunch of pedestrians walking in a huge crowd all the time. Oh now i have to go to the next marker and pickpocket that guy. Assassination time!...........................

You can use 3 buttons for combat... Plus all the types of counters, combos, defense breaks, dodging, parrying At least they didn't sink to other games buy putting in button pressing sequences (ala Resident Evil/God of War) Really your in the crusader times... how many more different kinds of moves are there that you cant do already? For everyone complaining about combat of Sandbox games... look at GTA and Crackdown oh what? Thats one button as well? Oh wait.. you can only shoot a gun/swing a melee weapon? Is there any depth to the system? For you guys complaining about the AI of the game, yea it isn't perfect and since it isn't XBL enabled your not gonna get a patch, but at this moment it is the best AI for the Sandbox genre. For those of you that have just played the beginning and are judging the AI pre the first 5 assassinations please finish the game... the guards get much more suspicious/harder when the game goes on. After the 5th assassination even the story tells you that the guards are about to get a LOT harder. If you don't counter you don't stand a chance when your fighting 10 enemies. Most of you haters gamercards shown that you have completed only half the game if even that. Please finish the game, not 1000/1000 but at least to the end. AsC has done a lot for the Sandbox Genre and if GTA4 doesnt pass the landmarks posted by it I don't see it getting a higher score than AsC. You guys complaining about repatativeness must really hate GTA cause that game was chock full of it.

I'd say take it back I beat Assassins Creed and it was a good game but not great currently I'm playing Mass Effect (kind of ironic given the thread) and the game is amazing. Assassins Creed is dissapointing the game is repetitive and the ending is............lets just say to me it comes off as an epic failure with no build-up whatsoever. I'd still give assassins Creed an 7.5 but to me it's not a title worth keeping.

So you are saying the people saying it's repetitve. Are the ones that are just doing the same kind of kills everytime. And mot learning how to do other kills and use the surroundings?

I guees you mean that you can do all kinds of different things if you use your brain and think and try new stuff?
