to play my ps1 games since my old ps2 died

and i ordered chrono cross on amazon so i can play that too when it arrives

high definiton gaming is crap

its all about the low rez textures with no filtering

PS1 Classics that are definitely worth it: RE1 Suikoden FFVII MGS Castlevania: SotNdouble_heist

and final fantasy VIII, final fantasy IX, and Chrono Cross

are you joking? the ps3 doesn't even have backwards compatibility, why would I pay 300 dolars, plus the games value when I could get a PS1 almost for free with games and everything, and above all it does have the exact same controller, I don't see why you would prefer a ps3Lisandro_v22

I agree it was a stupid choice. But all PS3 models are capable of playing PS1 games, just not PS2. Also, alot of games are rare, and can be cheaper to buy over the online store. Personally, i brought a PS3 to play PS3 games, i rebrought a PS1 to play PS1 games, as with a PS2.
