I am actually the exact same. I find it's not worth the time trying to logically argue with some of the people on here (and I feel bad for the ones that do actually try to have decent discussions, as it's always ruined by crazy fanboys). However, if I ever feel like getting some gaming news, I come right to this forum, because I know it'll be on here if it's important.

I used to be here for the the other reasons you posted, well, at least around 2004 to 2006. Now I'm just here to be hanging around and checking out news. Sysytem Wars has under gone the great depressoin for the pass few months...
To gradually watch the rise of the PS3 back to respectability. These dark days will soon come to an end but until then, it's fun to observe the PS3 vs GBA war here at SW.

i agree its the only reason i come here. The other website that might compete with this board is N4G but thats because users are allowed to write articles.
Lol, I agree. Gamespot problem gets its news from the System Wars posters, as I usually see Gamespot news updates that I saw a day or more ago on System Wars. Get past all the fanboyish arguments and this is a great forum for game news :).

..ya, some of these posters make good news reporters. After I get some new info, I grow tired of seeing the 20th "MGS4 is coming to 360" thread, get annoyed for wasting time reading another blog worthy thread, and then leave for a couple of hours.
I brought this up cause I'm waiting on he new MGS info suposedly coming out tonight and instead of waiting at Ign or something I just wait in SW and entertain myself with threads like "What do you eat when you game"... lol

Yeah, the huge mamount of news that floods in here is amazing. That and the tiny ounce of laughable hope that one of my post might make a difference is why I keep coming here.
