I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but....

did Gamespot play the same Skyward Sword that everyone else played??? AFter reading and watching the review it almost sounds like they were sent an early verison of it before it was finished. My main example, every reveiw posted before this (and that even includes the reviews that werent perfect i.e. 8's) said that the controls were perfect and one of the main reasons to still rate the game pretty high. They also said combat is more involved because you cannot just run in wagging the control or you would lose quickly. Now we read the GS review that bashes the controls for being unresponsive and not working, and also saying you can just waggle away good parts of a battle. They also like to point out that combat is a little slower because you have to think about how you want to attack..so for one thing make up your mind, do you waggle or do you think? And also, why are they so completely different from ever other review in extistance for the game? I know some people wouldn't like it, and that is fine, but I'm just trying to figure out why the huge inconsistency.

This a million times. I for one generally trustGamespot andEurogamer alone, regardless of the score for my preferred platform or game.

Its an opinion every has one some are what you think some are not. Getting mad about some random guys opinion is just silly.

I trust IGNs way more. Gamespot reviews have received alot of scrutiny especially with a game that recieves nothing but praise in the review and then gets a crappy score.

You said the exact same thing in the other thread. People are dealing with! What people are questioning is the reasoning. Why one review is claiming an aspect of the game is bad, when it is the EXACT area that 99.9% of other reviewers are raving about.

1 Up and Giant Bomb gave it an 8 which isn't far off from a 7.5 sometimes a spades a spade. A lot of reviewers are probably giving it a high score from the name.Shielder7

GB works on a 5 point scale--that is a different grading system. It is more about "don't buy/buy with hesitation/buy/must buy"

Not to be rude...but where in my post did I say I disagreed with his score, I even said that not everyone has to like the game. I am just questioning some of his reasons when he complains about the one thing that every other review has agreed is what makes the game as good as they rated it. Even the 8's that are almost the same score completely disagreed with with GS said as far as controls go.
