I simply cant stand to play CoD 4 or CoD WaW anymore. I think both of these have stale, boring gameplay. I persoanlly have much more respect for SOCOM Confrontation and RFoM 2 and Imo Killzone 2 will MOP THE FLOOR with the current CoD offerings!!! CoD 4 and WaW are full of two kinds of people. Little, dorky kids and uber nerds that think that because they are 10th Prestige they are gods of the game. IW and Activision had better do their homework on CoD Modern Warfare 2, because if all they are going to do is release anther expansion pack/mod(CoD WaW) and charge full price for it, they have another thing coming.
I feel the same way. Guess I'm the minoroity too but i can't stand COD4/W@W on consoles. It's too noobish and it has auto aim. games VERY easy to get into and i need a sense of actually competiton in my online games.
I thought W@W and confrontation were both stale compared to Cod4 and S3, I loved Cod4 way better than Halo 3 and i enjoyed R2 but it also got stale after the campaign and coop.
i do love cod4 however i admit it does grow tiresome cause i think i like hardcore shooters more. i loved socom 2 becuase once you got really good not many noobs could just come out of no where and own you. this is a big reason i'm looking forward to KZ2 cause it takes skill to play it with all the recoil and weight.
You guys re defitnetly in the minority and to compare the new SOCOM to COD series is laughable. Socom 2 was amazing this new game is an insult to the greatness that once was.

I agree, I have grown to hate the COD series, they are so repetitive!
Most shooters are repetitive. But as long as so many people buy them, as long as developers get money from them we won't see any changes. No one has the courage to leave a road paved with gold for an unknown path...
I agree, but I only managed to stop playing COD4 after ~7 months My friends kept telling me to get back on (I was pretty good :P), so it took a while to escape it.

A bit insecure are we? Why the need to insult another fanbase? Is it because the CoD franchise trounced R 2 and SOCOM?
