Wait till TGS!! No, wait till E3!! No, wait till launch!!! No, Wait till summer!! No, wait till Christmas of '07!!! See a pattern here? While you are doing all this waiting the PS3 is losing the reason why you should have bought the thing in the first place: its exclusives.

Where does posting a thread like this get us?   Whats its purpose?   Why is it relevant which system is more powerful?

... How would you know that Gears pushes the limits of the 360? You do realize the spec difference isnt that great and in the end even though everyone knows PS3's graphics are better, the difference will not be that great. Definitely much less than the difference between ps2 and xbox which wasnt even THAT big in the first place.

If you think Gears is the peak of the 360's graphical capabilities you've proven you don't know what you're talking about. I still believe in the long run the PS3 will showcase better looking games graphically though.

Gears came out only 1 year after the 360's launch, if you've think that Gears is the best the 360 can do, you need to lay off huffing gas.

i own all 3 and i question the power of the ps3. time will tell, but as of right now the 360 is holding the ps3 down (metaphorically) and spanking its ass soooo hard (like it's visibly red) in terms of visuals.

and visuals aren't everything, ps3 seems to have some serious framerate issues based on what i've played so far. what good are the visuals if they don't run smooth.

so far Lair is the only title to show promise, and as much as the trailer excited me I think the gameplay would get old really fast -- seems like Dynasty Warriors with dragons :|

The 360 was pushed to its limits on what the developers knew atm, as they learn and adapt they will be able to push that same power way beyond what they have done in the past.
