I like Lair....yeah I said it

I also am really enjoying blue dragon. Lair is a terrible game, but you know what, it's fun. It's got terrible controls, I really don't care about the story by any means at all, but you know what, there's just something about it that I enjoy. Call it a guilty pleasure, but so many people let this silly website dictate all of thier gaming. Lair is by no means going to ever make my GOTY list, but it certaintley is one of those games I can vouch and say "well if you've played it you'd find out the reviews are too harsh."

Anyone else have games like this, where it was reviewed to hell and considered crap and you ended up enjoying somehow?

To each his own. GS isn't telling you that you can't play the game, they are just giving a guide.

And yeah, I really enjoyed a game on PS1 called Hogs of War, which scores 5.something here.

Not really, but I've tried to convince my friends of how good TimeSplitters 2 is, but they just doesn't see the greatness of it. I can't explain why I like it as much as I do either. There's just something special about it..
