I think their strategy of offering 3 sku's is just confusing consumers and doesn't offer good value. I'ld scrap the core and change the drive on the elite to a HDDVD drive. The core is just plain crap!!

PS3 doesn't come in 20 Gig anywhere anymore, soon it's only going to be 80 Gig in the states too with the same gimped BC that the Europeans have.

- 3 SKUs isn't confusing anyone. Unless you're a complete idiot. People are looking at 360 price before anything else.

- HD-DVD drive is an unproven format, with a high chance of failure. It would be smarter for 360 to adapt a BR drive instead. (although I believe neither formats can replace DVD)

- The 360 is already successful, all it needs is a price drop. 80% of PS2 owners didnt buy it til it was under $200, so why would they buy a $400 one now?

- Leave tactics to the professionals because your ideas do not consider all the consequences.

The only reason why I want the Core dropped is so Microsoft can make the HDD standard. If Microsoft allows HDD required games, then I couldn't care less whether or not the Core existed. MS barely manufacturers this SKU anyway.
