I made teh mistake of my life!!! ps3 related

I was so stupid!! I'm a college student and about a month ago I bought a 360 and that descision is probably going to ruin my life!!! I realized that I'm playing mass effect and bioshock and the orange box while in the next 3 days I have a bio and a physics exam....And during the weeks leading up to that, gears of war and halo 3 took my life

NOW! if I had bought a ps3, by now I would have beaten ratchet, uncharted, maybe heavenly sword by now, I would have probably given up on some of those and gaming wouldn't take so much of my time.

I already came to the conclusion that I am stupid/dumb/childish for playing during finals week so save me from those. But really the PS3 is the best system for college students, the lack of games give those as stupid as me time to study and plays blueray movies...

good thing multiplayer games were only getting started when i was in college :)

I do remember a lot of warcraft 2 and starcraft lan parties in college. and MMORPGs kinda sucked back then

But you've gotta agree, the official hypewas lower then the hype the cows gave it.
Looks like a fun game though, definatly wanna try it out soon.

You can beat BioShock in two days.. and Mass Effect you can beat in 3.cleotis_max

Yeah, its obvious the TC has forgotten that, for the most part, game length is up to the gamer. I I wanted to make HS last 20 hours, I would. Just like you could make Mass Effect a 10 hour game if you wanted.

My brother did the same thing with final fantasy 10. He's a cook at a bar now. Your life is ruined.

I, on the other hand, smoked and drank excessively, but actually went to the class. Thats a lie too. Finals weren't that hard and I got by with a strong C average!

Let's be honest, college is a great way to get expensive paper. The lessons learned outside of the classroom are going to carry you farther than any anatomy course.

Also, the school won't want to lose you're tuition money. You'll probably get an academic suspension, have to repeat the class, and spend an extra semester goofing off and having the least responsibility you'll ever get to enjoy.

how is ME a flop? it's AAA and damn near everyone who's played it says it's an awesome game and should have got game of the year. the only problems were a few glitches...that doesn't equal flop.

system wars= gamespot scores ONLY, Mass Effect was expected to have a 9.0+ score, it didnt, so it flops....on gamespot, by no means does that mean the game is a failure, its awesome apparently(havent played yet) and has an average of 92% which is super. But on system wars, only the gamespot score is applied. Flop in actuality? no, flop on gamespot? yes.

There's a slight difference...:roll:

In order to beat Mass Effect in 10 hours, you'd have to skip every conversation, do zero side-quests, and never ever explore. By doing this you are missing out on 80% of the game...

Even then it's still probably impossible on Hardcore or Insanity modes.

I'm pretty sure that if I played Heavenly Sword with my feet while drunk and stoned...I'd still beat it in less than 10 hours. :lol:

People have lives... unfortunatly students and working adults that have social lives dont get many hours of gaming, I personally get like 1-2 per day unless its sunday... unless mysocial life kicks in.
