I never see playstation move ads on the tv but i always see wii and kinect .

Ive seen 10 kinect adds , 100 wii ads seriously wii adds are always on in one month i see 100. And 3 playstation move adverts.

so why is sony really bad at advertising

This is from spetember 17th to now

the fact that kinect was recently realeased worries me.

Ok, I always see all three ads on tv. I actually see the Move Tiger Woods Golf one quite often, with the hilarious end to it.

Depends what channels you watch and what time of day. I hardly see any Wii commercials and I see plenty of Move and Kinect commercials.

The only Playstation adsI see are when they attach the logo to a multiplatform game, like Assassins creed. Oh, and on MTV and the like they often show MOVE and such

Same with the Xbox pretty much, but a couple weeks ago some Reach ads were on.

I see Nintendo ad's constantly with rubbish popular celebs like "Jedward" or JLS trying to sell Nintendo products to the family.

I havent seen any adverts for kninect apart from in game shop windows. Move had quite a few posters.

Considering the gap between PS3 and the 360 is VERY small, with expectations to surpass them by the end of 2012, I'd say the ads have been VERY effective.

I rarely see any Nintendo ads.

I have seen 2 Wii ads, No Move ads and 1030294820497230482038810840140184830940239700823 Kinect ads. This past week.

Nothing to do with ads imo. The PS3's success is down to it's branding. It been outselling the 360 since launch, that's even with a ridiculous price and very, very poor launch.

MS have done a lot to change that with their advertisement, but sony just dont need to do that. Gran Turismo will have minimal ads and it'll destroy forza in sales.

Agreed, a real accomplishment considering they used to have the worst. I guess they fired (and hired) the right people

That is funny because i almost never see Kinect ads but i have seen way too many Move ads and a few less Wii ads.

The only Kinect Ads I see are the Burger King ones.

I completely agree, I was just showing Fried_Shrimp how incorrect his statement is.

Also, I love when people say Sony is "dead last!!!!", when the mark seperating the PS3 and 360 is as miniscule as it currently is.
