I only have one HDMI cable at the moment, which console would benefit the most?

PS3, Xbox360, or Wii?

Its for my 50' HDTV.

If the graphical difference isn't striking enough I won't invest in any more cables tbqh

Does your TV do 1080 through the component cables? If so you could run your 360 through component cables and your PS3 through the HDMI, thats what I did and they both look great.:D

why not just unplug the HDMI cable when playing what ever u want to play. i don't think wii even comes in HD. i would say xbox 360 is ur best bet. just unplug it and play ps3 when ur done with the 360.

Well, I haven't been too impressed with the graphics for any of the consoles. Use it for your PC so that you can game on your HD TV.

How about leave the cable connected to the back of your TV, and whichever console you want to use at that time, connect it to that. OR buy another cable off amazon for $4

Same difference. What? So suddenly the 360 and PS3 don't use microchips, motherboards, hardware like DVD drives, hard drives, and other last gen hardware? Yeah, you keep believing that.

You canb buy a cheap HDMI switch to have two consoles into one input on your TV. Just hit the button to use the other console. Or buy a receiver with a HDMI switch. Since you have a HDTV, you should already know the difference between SD and HD. Games, in that regard, are no different. 360 or PS3 is a MUST for HD gaming. Not sure why Wii was even mentioned.

I never said that a system NEEDS to have a HDMI port, just that all of them besides the Wii have one. Even if not all 360's have HDMI ports, most of them do, even some PC's don't have HDMI ports, most do, even if all Wii's don't have HDMI ports... they don't have one, 360, PS3, or PC have one either way.

The Wii definitely doesn't have the processing and graphics power of the PS3 and 360, but that doesn't mean it isn't a current gen system. It is a system that improves over the previous gens' systems in that it does process faster and has better graphics capabilities.

Show me a game that looks better than the Xbox's Riddick, Splinter Cell, or Ninja Gaiden. There isn't one, so it's not an improvement over last-gen power, in this case the original Xbox.

$1.99 6ft HDMI Cable

There's no need to choose one or the other. Just buy a second cable... it costs less than a Big Mac meal at McDonalds.

I think that developers need to put more effort into their games if they can't make better looking Wii games than GC games. The power is there, but they need to tap into it.

I guess I should rephrase myself, Wii isn't up to par with this current gen technology, or "next gen" compared to the last gen, which the Wii techinically is.gameslayer01

I think Super Mario Galaxy looks superb running at 60 FPS.

Yes, and a great game, but it doesn't match the games that I listed.

[QUOTE="MachineLike7"]You guys think there is a problem when Gamecube games look better than Wii games? I do.Zhengi
I think that developers need to put more effort into their games if they can't make better looking Wii games than GC games. The power is there, but they need to tap into it.

That's gonna be difficult since Wii is basically Xbox 0.9

Of course it isn't. The Wii is current gen.

Well I haven't seen much, if any improvement from last gen with the Wii.
