than a great game with bad graphics. Isn't gameplay described as how fun a game is? Well I could never find an ugly game fun. And I'm pretty tired of hearing Gameplay > Graphics. Thats so far from the truth. It's Gameplay = Graphics. If you don't have both it's impossible to be classified as a great game. And the Wii sucks. No all consoles suck. 360 doesn't work, and the PS3 is nothing more than a cheap blu ray player.

And I won't even get into games, everyone already knows the best games are on PC. Been like that since day one.

Well if you feel that graphics is gameplay and graphics, than of course graphics will be important. But traditionally gameplay is gameplay and graphics are graphics.

I'd rather have great gameplay with great graphics personally.

But in a manner of speaking, horrendous graphics detract from games. See Alien Syndrome for instance.

SNES and NES games had great graphics for there time. Not as good as PC, but still decent.

I agree to some extent. If a game has a few missing gameplay elements with horrid graphics, I don't buy it. If it looks great and plays alright, i might buy it. Then again i only buy games that look great and play just as well. Oh and this is a bad attempt at bashing the Wii because it doesn't have that bad of graphics. ;)snorlaxmaster

Which would you rather have, an absolutely drop dead gorgeous woman who'sa dumbass and kind of a **** or a plain woman who's nice and funny and all that good stuff? A lot of people would choose the gorgeous woman right off, but they would regret it later I think

Well, your opinion is valid but I don't agree at all. If the gameplay isn't fun then how are good graphics going to help make it better? I mean, why not stop playing games all together and just watch movies, those are the most realistic graphics you'll be seeing. -sigh- You're missing out on a lot of good games like Metroid Prime 3.It's very good and it does has pretty good graphics with a great art style, but more importantly it PLAYS and CONTROLS beautifully.

You're one of those graphics wh**e gamers aren't you? It's a sad day for gaming when more and more people have your attitude. You're spitting at so many artist and developers faces right now who spend months, even years making the game engine, modeling everything, and applying textures, etc...You're basicly telling them you're too good to play their games because the graphics aren't up to your standards.

i'll put it this way; i'd rather play a game with decent graphics but amazing art style and storythan a game with crysis graphics and a dumb as **** storyline and reptitive gameplay
