[QUOTE="colmusterd28"][QUOTE="Willy105"] The Wiimote is not a gimmick, it's a revolution, just like the analog stick before it.
When people and developers like the "gimmick", the hardware makers will put the gimmick into their system so that the people and developers will like the system.
The reason the SIXAXIS came out wrong was because they added it at the last minute instead of waiting for the PS4.

I'm not saying that Nintendo and the wii are evil or anything... I just think about the lot of games that are out or I've played that the wiimote is just a disaster in... Have you played SSBB with the wiimote? OMG its an absolute mess, a failure on every level. Why are we cutting the wiimote slack? should'nt it be crucified for not running a staple game properly? It seems that the only type of games it has run well in are games that only sparingly implement it.
Again, Im not trying to tick you off, and I have a very steady hand (when its not shaking violenetly) its just that the wiimote IMHO at this point is far far less of a controller than the industry standard...
Have I played with the Wiimote?
THAT'S THE ONLY WAY I PLAY BRAWL.
I have a GCN controller, but I always use the Wiimote sideways because it's the most reliable! For a game like Smash Bros, you NEED a D-Pad. And the buttons are closer to each other on the Wiimote sideways, making it faster.
And besides, 2 years after the N64 launched, the control stick was still not being used correctly, and only few games like Super Mario 64 and Wave Race made good use of it. There were plenty of games that used it badly, like Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire.
Too bad the D-pad is super-small though. That doesn't help.
