Yea, even if it does come to the 360 it won't be as grand as it is on the PS3 and it will be over a year from now at least. Besides there are toehr reasos to get a PS3, who knows maybe you'll buy one for metal gear and fall in love with other games like Resistance 2 or turn out to be a Blu Ray fanatic.
I really don't see it happening. I mean I get that PS3 lost a good deal of exclusives, but I just don't see it coming to the 360. Go rent a PS3 and the game, save yourself a couple of hundered bucks.
You should just borrow or rent console+game. I am sure people who have had enough will lend it to you if you ask politely and know them t a certain extent. If you already own a 360 I would advise you to perhaps play another such action game like Fallout 3. Unless you really want to part with a large sum of money just to run around as old snake. Perhaps watching a few gameplay vids will cooll you off.
While I certainly wouldn't encourage a 360 release of the game, I wouldn't count it entirely out of the question. Let us not forget what Shinji Makami said about Resident Evil 4 on the Gamecube remaining exclusive. But of course, I feel Kojima favors the PS3, and though the 360 has a larger fan base, it's the fact that MGS4 is exclusive to PS3 that builds the PS3's fanbase.
I wouldn't totally write off Metal Gear Solid IV for coming to the xbox 360, but the chances are really slim in my opinion. Anyway there are more games than just MGSIV on the PS3 so saying it has one game isn't true at all. It might come to the xbox 360 but it will be a while if it is indeed plan which is doubtful.
It won't Snake in LittleBigPlanet, Sony's new flagship title. With Sackboy as their new mascot. Kojima debunked the rumor 7 times, and the most recent time. He basically said go buy a PS3 for it. MGS4 boosted Konami's sales by 88% or something like that so obviously it sold well. Kojima told Famitsu he has a new game to reveal in 2009. A new game isn't a port of an old game. You should want ZOE3 on 360 because MGS4 360 just isn't happening.
if you really want to play MGSIV, but cant afford a PS3 for 1 game then i recommend going on Youtube, and just looking up all the cutscenes, and bam you have just played 75% of the game.
I believe buying a console is only a valid option if you have enough games coming out for it that total up to the value of the console itself. So, for example, if the PS3 model you wish to buy is 399$, then I'd need at least 6-8 games you personally believe are worth purchasing for the system. Or if you intend to acquire a 200$ arcade model of the 360, then you have at least 3-4 games you strongly believe are MUST-HAVES.
