I Respect the Wii Now...

after playing my xbox 360 and ps3 for awhile

i honestly understand why wii outsold both of them

because honestly i didn't like the graphics, i didn't like the motion controls,

i do however respect good games, and stuff like skyward sword, super mario galaxy, its got my attention folks

its definetly got my attention

and also it has awesome SNES/NES classics on its network which IMO is maybe the best collection of old games you can get

cuz playstation network has some good ones but imo nintendos got the most if ur old school gamer like me

and also its just got everything u want like its small its easy to have fun with it

the games tre there you picup the triple aaa titles ur gonna be having fun

i picked up some 360 titles like oblivion/skyrim these games just aren't even good its like what im doing? what im doing?

whatever happenned zelda an kicking butt smashing stuff gettin coins

honestly skyrim doesn't fullfill my gaming needs and neither does the whole 360 library and neitehr does the ps3 im sorry folks now i finally understand why the wii it wasn't cuz it was kiddie or controls it was games all along an the gamers flocked to it

NINTENDO keep making those mario and zelda games they outclass every single new franchise ive seen on the ps3/360

etc like unchartered = not as good as nintendo franchise on the wii and so other the other games like halo no these are not as good as nintendo franchise games and reason why thsi generation wii won

platystation needs to get back to the ff7's metal gears, and resident evils

and away from crap like uncharted and resitance which it moved to an has been horrible this gen experiences

I agree. One of the things I like about Wii is that it has less FPS games, and plenty of Japanese games.

I don't love or hate the Wii. It's just a toy as is the 360 and PS3. There is no love or hate for a bunch of plastic and metal parts.

Wii is a joke of a system with a small small handful of good games. And even then it's not worth it to me. If my girl didn't want to keep it, I would sell my Wii today. Even as is, it's pretty much just a Netflix box for the bedroom until I can get a second 360 to put in there. I'll be passing on the Wii U and the 3DS. FPSDad1161

There are plenty of great games to play on Wii, both on Virtual Console and ones made specifically for Wii.

This^. It does have a select few incredibly awesome games. Brawl hasn't been mentioned yet, which is one of the best games this gen IMO. As an overall package, it doesn't come even close to the other consoles.

The problem with the Wii however is its online structure and community, as well as 3rd party support. If those 2 things were better the Wii wouldn't get so much hate.DeX2010

lol I know what you mean, thats why I didnt buy it. I stopped caring about Mario games back in the N64, I dont like Zelda at all, so there really is nothing there for me. I dont hate it, I just dont even bother to pay attention to what Nintendo is doing anymore

Nintendo may have gimmicks, and stick to their classic franchises, but they won't allow themselves to get caught up in the money-grubbing business that the gaming industry is right now. I respect them more than most. I'll deal with gimmicks when I know their games are FINISHED at launch.
