I sold my PS3 today and do not miss it.

I purchased a ps3 during december and am already a 360 owner. The bluray was nice on my hdtv but do not need it especially because my computer does not have a bluray drive I felt it is useless. My 360 still stands and love it more than ever the RROD is what lead me to purchase a ps3 but at the end I still love my 360 RROD and all.

I am not a fan boy but owning two consoles was just too difficult and confusing and decided to keep my favorite console.

I guess the confusing part was the multi platform games. There was no purpose of owning both and I think the biggest reason I sold it was the PSN because people quit on games all the time on the PSN network because it is free and they do not pay for it. On live you pay and get negative feedback and since you paid a live player is not just going to create another account once he has a bad rep.Sherjas24

I also got a ps3 after my 360 red ringed. It seems like a more tight design, although I would like the controller to be a little bigger for my big hands. We will be how I feel when my 360 gets back.Kuchinator_7

No dude, it is hard. I couldnt play MGS4 on my 360 the other day... it turns out it actually goes in my PS3! And then recently I tried to sign up for Xbox Live but there wasnt an option for it anywhere... just alot of "Playstation Network" hooplah. I mean, how do they expect you to sign up for XBox Live when there wasnt even an option???

My basketball team-mate. You are making yourself sound like a fakeboy. I am over 6' and I also have no problem with the controller. Mabye you should get a Wii as the controlls are a little more "simple" for someone like you.

Im 6'4 and pushing 250 pounds, can palm a basketball no problem and the ps3 controller makes nothing difficult. Sounds like user error to me. All your reasons are skeptical, like saying only people on psn quit games and make new accounts, blu-ray useless because your pc doesnt have it. Maybe just trying to start a flame topic.

I think I am going to shovel a pile of manure into a box and hold it together with plastic clips and sell it to people like you for $400. I think I would call it the Crapbox 720. Complete with flashing red lights.

I sold my 360 last year in favor of my ps3, you'r not special

Just like last year, the motto was "the best time to get a PS3 is in 2008" but now that we're half way in the year, the new motto is now "the best time to buy a PS3 is in 2009". If you have a 360 now, there's no reason to get a PS3 now. But you have to get a PS3 one of these days, because you'll miss out on a hand full of great exclusives, but there's no urgency or anything right now with the PS3. I'm not surprised you do not miss your PS3.

How much did you buy it for and how much did you sell it for? I bought my 20 gig for $300, then sold it for $400, then bought an 80 gig bundle. I was gonna get just a standalone blu ray player for my blu ray collection, but the PS3 is still the best blu ray player.
