is it really that annoying to have a small install for a game? :roll: ... i never been bothered by thsoe installs and never found any multiplat game that shaddy to me on ps3 but ya maybe u need to do something else till this gen ends i dont know :P
i see your point tc since this gen has been rather stale, but there are a lot of games that still have to come out. GT5, Zelda wii, Assassin's Creed 2, GoW3 to name a few. I can wait, and until then there are some great games out there

If the 360 has 2004 hardware than why is it so hard for the PS3 to keep up with it:?? Anyway the only thing I can't stand about this gen is the lack of GOOD jrpgs. I said good because I don't want people listing Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean 4, etc. because none of those games can compare to jrpgs on the ps2. Once developers like Atlus jump on to this gen and start making games like Persona for ps3/360 and once Square Enix starts putting SOME effort into their games than this gen will be great imo.

Every time I try to buy Burnout Paradise: Big Surf Island, I get this error code, and it won't let me buy the game.
On top of that, I've been having problems on all my games, like Resident Evil 5, Valkyria Chronicles, LittleBigPlanet, and more, where it is downloadinga patch or something, and it goes up a little, but then it just stops completely, and the minutes go higher and higher from 5 to 7 to 11, and so on.
I am always capable of downloading demos, but sometimes I get an error code during the installation that won't even let me install it, like with Heavenly Sword, Ragdoll Kung Fu, HAZE, and such.
I've had a very frustrating time with my PS3, and I would appreciate some feedback on the three issues I'm having.
And to top it all off, my first PS3 broke down after 12 days, so I lost all my LittleBigPlanet data, and I had put forth a lot of effort towards this one level I was making. I also had some other save files erased, but most were "beat it and done," so I didn't care as much, like Uncharted. Motorstorm, I didn't get too far in, as well as The Force Unleashed. I hadn't even started Metal Gear Solid 4 at the time. Anyway, that was really frustrating, too, because I tried to get my data on my new PS3, but I didn't want to screw with the hard-drive since it is so expensive. Even if I did take it out, they wouldn't take it in that state.
I think you can see why I am be having such a frustrating time.
I like some nostaliga and the old games better. But advancement is natural and as a PC gamer I like this generation a lot since we got a lot of good console games coming our way. Burnout Paradise, Devil May Cry 4 Prototype & SF4 are games I think that would not come to PC in previous generations.
