I think 360 fans should rally up and form Occupy Kinect

With MS only concentrating on Kinect games and not making exlcusive hard core games that use to, .360 has been pretty much a console that you jump and wave your hands at. These past few years on VGA for the 360, has been just sad. Even with game sites such as IGN, GS and others to pick a multi plat game for game of the year on the 360. I know over years the .360 has increased on fans, (ONly int he US :( ), but were did all the true 360 fans go? because these new 360 fans dont mind having the game of the year on their console to be a multi plat game.

I'm with you 100%. My first console this gen was the 360, back in summer 2006. After playing 4 halo's, 3 gears and 3 forzas, I want something new. I'm dissapointed in Microsofts decision to abandon the core gamer, especially when the Xbox brand was always marketed for the core gamer.

on netcode level in some areas PSN is equal if we talk bout getting down to the nitty gritty part of actually gaming and its better at OD services its had them for bout a year and were still waiting for them on 360.

Both are great but you get what you pay for, you get added bonus's with XBL but infact PSN's been doing a lot of stuff like yotube and the likes since launch.

A. defend the kinect because it appeals to "its casual target audience" (which is the problem in the first place)

B. pretend like the kinect isn't there

C. go all "Dr. Strangelove" and just accept the ****ness (like loosingends)

The xbox brand is darn near dead. The direction that thing is going is god knows where. I just downloaded the Starhawk beta last night and I glanced at my dusty 360 and it isn't even plugged in.

I will say I'm starting to get an annoyance vibe from a lot of 360 fanboys on here, in regards to kinect and xbox.

I kept getting a "connection error"--booting me back to the title screen. That was in matchmaking, though. Try just jumping in a game, that's what I did and it worked out.

Don't care about kinect anyway, I love my 360 for its multiphats and the LIVE. I'm sure Microsoft will come back next year with core games. Or maybe kinect could be the future of gaming? Who knows what Sony is planning for next gen.

And the 360 has more exclusives then the PS3, not sure how people forget this.

sony is not forcing the "move" on us like Microsoft is forcing the kinect. its pretty clear when you look at this year's E3 and how microsoft's conference was one giant commercial for the kinect. or if you look at how there is only 1 non-kinect exclusive coming out next year for the xbox.

sony fans have no reason to worry about the move. it is there as an optional peripheral to already great hardcore games. the kinect is just a giant middle finger to all the hardcore gamers who bought the xbox360.
