I think all the consoles are pretty balanced and equal, do you agree?

The Wii has casual gaming covered. Sure it's not MY cup of tea (I've said before that my Wii is basically an expensive gamecube) but for some reason there are people out there who actually enjoy spending $50 on Cooking Mama or $100 on Wii-fit.

The PS3 has a good selection of odditites along with shooters, appealing to a wide audience of core gamers. The online is free which is a plus for those who only like playing it occasionally. And the system has the most multimedia functions of the three, meaning it goes beyond gaming.

The 360 caters to the most hardcore, while still having a decent selection of party games and games for casual gamers.

Bottom line: There's a system for every person, and taken at face value, they're all equal - which one is right for you is totally subjective to your situation.

The wii seems to entertain me once a month, but that could change. My X-box 360 is played a lot and the games on there are like you said catering to the hardcore more. Ive played some PS3 and it was not as fun as my 360, maybe it would be like the Wii to me but idk for sure. And the 360s online is superior even if it dos cost money. I get enjoyment out of all 3 systems.

360 for me. I value online a lot and I want the best, even at a cost.

I have a bad PC and a taste for shooters and Wrpgs, something Mass Effect, Fable 2, Gears of War, Halo 3 and the timed release of Bioshock greatly satisfied.

I like that I can play the same games as PS3 on my 360 for less money, as I use ethernet and also have no desire for Bluray.

Finally, I like getting the most of games I like. I appreciate exclusive DLC as it reinforces that I made the right console pruchase.

I'm sure many people will agree with you on this, 360 is for pure gaming (which it does REALLY well) while the PS3 is for the whole entertainment package. The Wii on the other hand..

And opinions in general can't be "ignorant" per se. What exactly are they ignorant of? Their enjoyment of a console? Opinions are naturally biased, and therefore their decision is their decision. "Belligerant" maybe, possibly "conceited", but not "ignorant"

Yeah they're equal in terms of the fact they're all game systems. Like an apple, banana, and orange are all fruit. However, thats about as far as I'll agree that they're "equal", which would indicate that what they do is the same, or what they offer is the same outside of just playing games.
