I think I know what Konami's weekend announcement is.

Peace Walker on the PS3.

Konami said they would consider having it on the PS3. What do you guys think?

Even though I already have Peace Walker and have put over 150 hours into it, I think I would succumb and buy a PS3 if they did that.

But I hope it's something like a Castlevania Collection of some sorts, like all the NES, SNES, Turbografx16, PS1, etc. games. Unlikely but even nicer would be the gameboy, gameboy advance, and DS ones. Some sort of Castlevania super collection. That would be a great way to promote the new one about to come out.

It would be cool if they released MGS Collection with updated graphics because I have trouble playing MGS1 on my PS1 It doesn't work on my PS2. Since I first got it when in 2008 with MGS Collection.

If you have a PS3 you can play it easily.

But yeah it would be interesting to see all the Metal Gear Games in one style in HD.

Enough MGSs the series needs a little rest kojima please give us something like POLICENAUTS on PS3 or any other home consoles but please not on handhelds I need to take a long rest from playing games on handhelds after MGS PW and DQ IX.

According to this live feed which Mr. Kojima is guest (the podcast radio show part has since ended a little while ago), it seems that the upcoming Castlevania game (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow) is the weekend announcement.
