The price is going to go down as well in the up coming years making the 360 even more attractive and they will be getting a reliable model as well, and the gaming division isnt gonna stop, especially when MS drops motion sensing or something of the time technology. Microsoft should be commended, and criticised for only believing that the people of Japan would give them fair shake, which they never will give a american made videogame marker that dominant role IMHO. Other than that, MSFT is a success in my eyes because they keep at it all the time.

I thought the motion controller was just a rumor? But I don't think that would save MS, especially if the general public knows about RRoD. Whether they fix it or not, people if they know about it or not, will associate 360 with RRoD.
na i believe sony will be ahead of the 360 in a few years. sony first party just started. only 30% has made a ps 3 game the rest are not here yet. plus the blu-ray helps alot because hdtv have the most in house holds in the us. plus sence the 360 has been out the 360 sells the same mouth after mouth and the ps 3 sales goes up and up every mouth.
sony is still more nown name here because of all the electronics they sell here.
if MS could actually make a reliable system that doesn't sound like a plane taking off, than yes, it could be a good system. Until then, I am happy to be in the ps3 camp.
now for the 360 and ps3 there both great systems both with ups and downs....me personally like 360 better just bc im used to it really....but i did buy a ps3 for mgs4 and killzone 2

lol. that statement is always funny. the Wii is the ONLY real gaming system this gen, its the only one that just plays videogames and nothing else, while ps3/360 plays movies as well.
im talking about the actual gaming which is the primary aspect in all sytems.....and the wii just doesnt cut it even though theres great games like mario and super smash bros.....imagine those games on a system that is at 360 and ps3 level
No, the Wii counts whether you like it or not, TC. And as crazy as it may sound now, I think the PS3 will eventually pass the 360 in NA or at the very least, match it.
The PS3 will pass the 360 in NA just like it is doing elsewhere. As for M$ dropping the price I don't think it will really help if it does happen. With the titles that are in the works for the PS3 it's just going to get better the longer it's on the market.

Yet the 360 outsells it now when it doesn't have stock issues and post GTA 4.
The 360 1st/2nd party has been doing better than Sony's this gen. More critically acclaimed games, and more sales as well. The attach rate is impressive for the 360, and during the holidays 360 has the killer app in Gears of War 2, while Sony has to rely in Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet. A NEW IP and a sequal to a good seller but not a system seller.
Plus for the next year or 2 the 360 will more than likely continue to stay cheaper.
