I am not attacking all sheep with this , just a few. So don't everyone throw a little temper tantrum.

Some people think that the Wii third party games are going to be able to compete quality wise with the other systems when it comes to third party games. These games seem like they will be quality ones to me and will be able to be played this year (or scheduled) on one of the competing systems.

GRAW 2 , Oblivion , Rainbow Six Vegas , Virtua Figher 5 , Burnout 5 , Brothers in Arms Hells Highway , Grand Theft Auto IV , Unreal Tournamnet 3 , Devil May Cry 4 , Assassins Creed , Army of Two , Stranglehold , Half-Life 2 Orange Box.

I don't claim to have a crystal ball and know exactly how these games will turn out and score but I am just trying to keep it real here. What is the Wii going to offer us third party wise that can compete with these games ?

The Wii has some great third party games coming. Of course it doesn't have the third party line-up that the 360 and PS3 have, but what the Wii does have compliments its superior first party line-up quite nicely. The support always goes to the fastest-selling console, which happens to be the Wii at the moment. The third-party games are comiing. We'll just have to make due with what we have until then.

As of now, No More Heroes, Resident Evil: UC, DDR: Hottest Party, Final Fantasy, Orb, NiGHTS, Opoona, Dragon Quest, Red Steel 2, and some that slip my mind. It isn't a huge list, but I think we'll see more announcements soon with the Wii's popularity. Nobody can really claim that the Wii will have high quality support, but it is likely because of sales. At least, that's what I think.

I don't think a cow or lemming would even care if they are on another system. Whatever system they choose , they will have a blast with most of these games.

Right now, 3rd party support goes to the PS3 and 360... but if the Wii sells like it is now, 3rd party development will follow. At least Wii owners have great 1st and 2nd party games.

Well, considering that, compared to the PS3 and 360, we hardly know anything about how much 3rd party support the Wii has and will get in the future, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Most of the Wii's games (both 3rd and 1st party) are not going to be available on PS3 or 360. That is why I bought one.

you think 'sheep' only buy one console?

anyways, I'm still playing my PS2 and Gamecube to death right now.. I have a ton of games to get through before I get a Wii, and even if only 5 good games are released for it a year, then I'll be satisified, but I'm sure I'll have about 10 before the end of the year

And Wii players will have a blast with some first party games... And there will be at least a few good third party games... Also what's stoping them from owning a PC or other console?

well, the way Isee it

nintendo consoles have always been like donuts that were baked on the foudation of 1st party games. But it does have some 3rd party sprinkles.

meanwhile the xbox and playstation consoles were baked on the foundation of stellar 3rd party support....but will a couple of 1st party spinkles here and there.

aaaa... Madden 07 for Wii competed.  Got a higher score and got Sports Game of the year from GS.  If innovations with motion sensing is done WELL like in Madden THEN IT CAN COMPETE.  Don't base it on the fact that 3rd party games for PS3 and 360 will have better graphics.

Nintendo is known for it's 1st party games, anyway.  GC 1st party games were argubly just as good if not better than ps2 and xbox AS A WHOLE.

It won't get the same games no, but so what i'd rather have exclusive AAA third party games than ports of the ones that will go to the ps360, so what do I care about that

Most of those "Original IP exclusives" will probably be bad.  I doubt any of those "original IP exclusives" will be better then Ninja Gaiden Sigma.  Yes it may be a port but at least its actually good, I can't really say the same for most of the Wii's third-party line-up.

I think stuff like RE:UB and No more heros(that ones a serious toss up atm) will be able to compete. But I seriously doubt it will have nearly as many, but I bet its 1st/2nd party will make up for it.

So you're saying PS3's best game is a Xbox port? Hmm $150 vs. $660 I think I'll get an Xbox instead of a PS3.
