That's quite soon. And new HD Wii games will not work on the nonHD Wii version.

Not only does this screw consumers, but it will screw developers.

I really dont think so. Their main advantage is the price point.hummer700

Why would Nintendo want to create an HD version of the Wii when their current one is already selling so strongly with no signs of slowing down?

Nintendo is in a real predicament with the Wii. They have released a console which probably will not have the ability to last the normal length of a console cycle, but yet, when do they release the HD Wii Upgrade? (or a totally new system for that matter)

If they made a new Wii the new games would work on the old one. They just wouldnt output in HD seriopusly why would you even think that
