All casual junk and 3d nonsense and no good games besides sequels. I really dislike that the only games that are going to be announced are sequels to hardcore games. Really make a great package at e3.

We won't know anything till E3 now would we? But am really into new IP's more then sequels, i hope they don't keep talking about natal/Move all the time :*(All casual junk and 3d nonsense and no good games besides sequels. Hopefully DMC5 will be announced.any games like god of war ninja gaiden bayonetta coming out soon???

Wait so you don't like casual junk but you don't like hardcore sequels?. Anyway hopefully MS will get their Natal BS out of the way at its own conference and Sony will probably show some core games with the PS move so I'm not too worried, I refuse to watch Nintendo since that Wii music crap but if you're looking for casual junk that's where it will all be, but I might sit through it for the 3DS and Pokemon Black and White. You're right about sequels sony are probably going to have loads but MS really need some new IPs so hopefully we get some. I don't think it will be a great E3 but solid non the less.Clank-PS-SnakeI don't like shovelware, and don't like the same game announcements. Killzone 3, Zelda Wii, linfamous 2, resistnance 3, portal 2, halo reach, gears of war 3, etc are all the games that are going to be announced. Really creative hotspot videogame markets are nowadays, probably worse off than movie industry.
But that dosnt mean there won't be any new IP's, i can feel rare making something big!Sev_the_gamerFor Natal.
you know natal and wand are going to be the major announcements at e3. why would 2 devices already announced get announced again at e3?[QUOTE="Slashkice"]
You know what games are going to be announced? I wish I could time travel too :/

I agree with you. Seeing as how all the big gun sequels have already been announced it takes the thunder away from the big three. Who knows though we will see, there could be a lot of surprises that we aren't aware of. Like I said in another thread similar to this, I stated in order to be shocked it would have to be a game that is well known that no one expected or a great showing of a new IP.

There will be some surprises I'm sure. I doubt it'll be the worse. I've been to some where we didn't even stay the full 3 days. All casual junk and 3d nonsense and no good games besides sequels. It will be labeled everything from worst to best by fans of all kinds.
I personally cant wait for it.
Zelda.....
considering that Sony's conference is f(x) and MS' conference is g(x), and assuming f(x)+g(x) is less than 0, while the function that defines Zelda Wii announcement is (abs(f(x)+g(x)))+9000, there is scientifically no way that this E3 is going to suck.funsohng
I lol'd.
If you have already convinced yourself that it will suck, it will, simple psychology. However, I don't think there will be an abundance of "casual garbage". Sony and Microsoft will want to support Natal and Move with core games, not just casual games to bring in their current audience. Nintendo is hopefully going to give us some Zelda info, and mostly likely a few things we haven't heard about yet.
I think it's going to be swell.
Because it really isn't going to be much different experience from the previous iteration. How many exclusives weren't basically the same exact formula to shorten development times. Zelda series hasn't been innovative, and most series don't try much new except bigger better and more badass. I feel disappointed when only sequels are announced at least we know littlebigplanet 2 and halo reach are doing new stuff.Personally, I'm looking forward to this year's E3 more than I have the past couple of years. I don't get the hate for sequels. How does putting a number at the end of a title make a game any worse? The vast majority of new IPs are nothing special.

I played my first motion control game (aside from Wii Sports at Wii launch) the other day. NSMB Wii, and it was pretty awesome.
I don't know why PS3/360 owners are worried about that. I thought it was great. Can't wait to see some games for Move and Natal after playing that.

What is LBP2 doing that is really different? Not much from what I hear.

To be honest, most of it is ignorance. The people who do bash the aspects of Move and Natal are the minority Wii haters who view Move and Natal as personal attacks on their glorified hardcoreness. It's pathetic. However, the adults who know better who are iffy about Move and Natal is mostly because the timing seems very odd, odd enough that it seems Sony and MS are settings themselves up for a fall. Nintendo and the Wii started motion controls, it's what it is. They also own the casual demographic, which is what the Move and Natal products are trying to reach. PS3 and 360 are about halfway or little more than halfway through their lifespan, and it just seems very risky to release this kind if thing so late, that's all. If it works out, then great. If not...kinda saw it coming.

Apparently a lot. Instead of just making platforming levels you can make puzzle based levels, shooter levels, flying levels, and more. I don't have all the specifics, but based on what I've heard a LOT is being changed.

Well, Sony seems to be advertising Move as an upgrade from the Wii. They think casual gamers will flock to the PS3 to squeeze Poseidon's eyes till they explode. Seems kinda stupid.
MS, on the other hand, seems to be advertising it as more than just games. I think they're planning to fully impliment it with Windows 7 so you can have "controller free" menu navigation and such. Will be great for people with Media PC's in their living rooms, or for business that deal a lot with presentations.
We'll just have to wait and see, but I'm still glad for this change. It was really fun playing NSMB Wii with motion controls, and it opens up more doors for control options. There's actually decent scoring strategy games for the Wii :P

Good lord, NSMB Wii had barebones motion control. May I recommend Red Steel 2 or the Sports series to get a good feel for the awesomeness of motion controls? And yeah, I love mjy PS3, PSP, and Sony in general, but what they fail to udnerstand is that the casual demographic doesn't follow gaming news. They don't have all the inside info, most hardly know what E3 is. That's how Nintendo was able to capture the casual demographic, by appealing to their interests: family entertainment, exercises, etc. A lot of people don't even know what the hell Move/Natal is.

Well, I played the Wii at Target, so unless they have Red Steel 2 going :P My friends HARDLY keep up with Wii games, so if they get any it's usually the most popular ones. Mario/Zelda, etc.
A lot of people seem to not even know what Nintendo is even though they own a Wii :P I'm with you. Sony's really fooling themselves if they think they're going to open up a door for 70 million casual Wii owners to walk through, and experience the awesome Socom 4, or God of War, or w/e else :P But maybe they'll try a different approach and actually make a bunch of casual games, so people jump on board, and then also advertise the big dogs to those same consumers.
