i thought the first gears was better than the second

mainly because the funny things that we saw in the first one were no longer in the second. in the lobbies, i enjoyed how people fought over to be in the cog everytime another person beats them to it. but it's no longer to be seen on the second since the match making puts you on a random team. the host advantage takes the cake, since my guns felt more powerful, and it was the easiest and cheapest way to win a match. the glitches were also fun as well especially when you escape from the map and people start whining and whining. i also felt that the single player was more enjoyable, since it was more fun for me to go through. then when the game goes to the closing credits, i loved how the cole train rapped. none of those things can no longer be found in the second gears. so imho the first gears is much better.

The first game is more technically impressive for it's time but otherwise, the sequel is better in every way.Floppy_Jim

Yea I remember when ppldid that in gears 1. I usually went to the locust side cause I liked using the locust with goggles.

I prefer Gears 2 over 1. Only thing I'm dissapointed in Gears 2 is they didn't add Fuel Depot in the flashback map packs. That was one of the popular maps in the first one.

like i played the first gears the other day at a friends, and i really feel like im controlling a tank, like marcus and dom are so bulky and they almost move like cows at some pointsAnimal-Mother
