Buy a Wii.Firelore29That w00t made my morning  ... But seriously get a 360 until the PS3 gives you something more to do than watch movies and play Resistance.
Buy a 360, it has the best lineup as of right now. PS3 is good, but the games are not there yet. VF5 next week though!  Don't waste your time with a Wii, unless you really love Zelda (which by the way is a pretty good game)
Honestly you shouldn't listen to anyone here... (even me) on this issue
Check out the games, make list of all the games you want to play.. and whatever has the bigger and or better list get that first and if the other list (minus games you can get on the other platform) is still a good/big list... well save up and get that one later
Everyone will have their own opinion... you should just listen to yours
[QUOTE="DaddyDC650"]PS3 EXCLUSIVE FEATURES: Bigger hard drive which you can upgrade yourself at any time without voiding your warranty, a bunch of memory card readers for you to store pix, videos and music, internal wifi, the best blu ray player available, the ability to charge your controller without having to buy a charger, and free online play even though it's still in the early stages of it's life. It WILL only get better though. The 360 is also great but if you want all the bells and whistles, go with the PS3.XeonzI'm pretty sure it's called 'Playstation' and not 'Mediastation'. Isn't it supposed to mainly be a gaming system? It's all about the games. Do you have a problem with me listing the exclusive features of the PS3? Don't hate on it if you don't own it and have no idea what you're talking about. As for games, the PS3 is getting 30+ titles in the month of March alone. I own both a 360 and a PS3 btw.

You forgot to mention 'what if' the built-in battery of the controller dies?? Not replaceable, eh? Unless it's sent to Sony. That's a waste of $50 down the toilet. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2006/10/19/PS3_controller_battery_not_replaceable/

I doubt it will die within 3-4 years and Sony might end up releasing a controller with both rumble and motion sensor features. Btw, that reminds me that I forgot to add "MOTION SENSORED CONTROLLERS" to the exclusive features list. Thanks for reminding me Xeonz. =P

I personally don't even notice the rumble feature anymore. It's cool but nothing to write home about. Motion sensor based controllers can add a whole new dimension to gameplay and that's what counts. Btw Xeonz , you reminded me by bringing up the controller "issue". Thanks bud! =P

wow lol everyone basically said get a 360 because it is better, yet you say the ps 3 oh well. You had your eyes set on a PS 3 b4 you made this thread. In conclusion ps3 is better

which console wll be better for maddenkool-aidsI would think the PS3 since it would involve using the motion sensor features in the sixaxis controller. Graphically they should be about the same (360 vs PS3).
I have no idea why you would ask random people at gamespot this question. What games out on both system interesting you most right now. Go to your store and play the ps3 and 360. Also play the Wii it might suprise you.
Even if I'm a ps3 fan,
if you want to play NOW a lot of games and all => 360.
if you want a long life console that is worth the wait for great games then =>PS3
