I feel that way also. But I mostly want it because they gameplay looks so boring and the enviroments are just bland. The story is always good in MGS games but i also heard this one is the worst. I feel IGN didn't mention any of the issues either with the game but just graded it on its epicness. They didnt even mention the length of the cutscenes which is a turnoff to many like me.BlizzardBear

lol it would be so funny if it got a 7.5. I kind of hope it does, there will be massive amounts of virtual suicide all over the place. I want to watch. I love the game A LOT though, just got done with a 5 hour playing-spree. I don't really care about reviews though.

I was already planning on making that thread to stir up the cows if it got AAAA:twisted: It's just too funny.

I wouldn't be surprised if GS gives the game a 10, since there always the last ones to release a review, as if there seeing what everyone else is giving it and then giving it a certain score. *cough GTA4* none the less everyone has to remember its one person opinion on the game. The reviewer could be a hardcore MGS fan who would likely not bring up small problems. If it was me reviewing it, I would keep my standards high playing the game. That's just because I personally despise the MGS series. All that said, reviews should be taken lightly, 10 to me is basically just means it lives up to its hype perfectly, but doesn't mean it has to be good. And that's when personal preference kicks in. I just finished the game. It would be a crime to give this game anything less than 9/10. This was the most amazing experience I've ever had in a game, movie or book.

I'm having a hard time putting my thoughts into words but... I honestly think this is the best game I've ever played. And I'm not still in the "i just got this game its so cool best game ever!!!" hype stage anymore. I truly, honestly think this is the best game ever. And I don't think that feeling is going to ware off on me like other games have, including GTA IV and SMG

I got it at the midnight release. Played it literally all night up until like... 9 or 10am. took a break (which included about a 3 hour nap), resumed play at around 9pm and finished at about 3:30am. At the end the game said my total playtime was about 18 hours.

I couldn't put down the controller. The game just really draws you in.

And Raiden... oh Raiden... He defiantly gives Snake a run for his money for the title of biggest badass in this game. Anyone who's got through Act 4 will tell you. It takes balls to do what he did in Act 4...

Yeah I remember hearing somewhere that it was a 30 hour game. Whoever said that must have been playing on either hard or extreme. I played on Naked Normal, which is like inbetween Easy and Medium.

I don't want to give a number saying how much of it was cutscenes, but I will that there is a lot. But every one of them is important and the production values behind them are outstanding.

I can't explain to you MGS4 with words. It's just something that you need to experience first hand to fully understand.
