Sadly, they won't. To many, it's just a meaningless wall of text. To some, it actually makes sense... And to many who read it, they'll just ignore it to suit their own needs...

This won't change anything, people are idiots. People will continue to complain after every single review, just start up the suspensions.

I think this is the thing most people should check out:

People need to read that, and stop complaining.

What Wario Ware does well, it does better than all the other games in it's genre. Those of which are looking for a mini game compilation would best choose Wario Ware above the other games. As well, there is a lot of competition in the shooter category, and it greatly raises the bar in terms of expectations as well as the fact that it is a sequel.

Also everybody remember, reviews are nothing more than guidelines to guide us when purchasing games. Never take the score to seriously.

Reviews are nothing more than a review of a product. They are an overview of what you get plus some of the reviewers personal opinion. Some are better than others. Generally Gamespot, IGN, and 1up do very non biased and opinion based reviews. Score means a lot less than the actually review itself. These reviews are nothing more than guides to help us the consumers make better purchasing decisions. They warn us of broken, crappy games. They also tell us what a game has to offer.

Don't use the score alone when deciding to purchase a game. I love the Dynasty Warriors series. They constantly get lower scores, that doesn't stop me from playing them. I enjoy them just as much as I enjoy a lot of AAA games. I use the review not for the score but for info on what the game does better than its predecessors. That is how you should look at a review.

The score of the game is the most opinion based part. Disagreeing with the score is alright, but getting worked up over a score is pointless. A score is nothing more than a number to help aid the review. If you don't agree with the score, read the review and learn about the game, then play it yourself if you are still interested in the game and make up your own score.

Getting worked up over a lower score is rather pointless. They are just opinions. Everybody's is different.

i wasn't too surprised by it but i couldn't have predicted it. i've never been a fan of 3d metroids anyway though.

I pretty much agree with Wasdie's whole paragraph. The quote is the most important part for me.

For instance, Gitaroo-Man is one of my favorite games of all time, but I get how it may not appeal to everybody. It was rated AA, and I'm totally fine with that. Getting as angry as people are about a review of a game is (plain and simple) dumb.

Maybe we should just go to a thumbs up-thumbs down review system. Claiming floppage for great games is getting rather old and it will only get worse from here on with the big releases for all consoles coming.

I love the irony of people getting mad at sheep who hate gamespot for flopping MP3.

They say, it's their opinion, don't hate them for having an opinion.

Obviously it's not for having an opinion, it's for what opinion they decide to have.

I hate bigots. Why? Because they are of the opinion that black people or women are worse than white men. Do I not have the right to hate their opinion? Is that not my right to have that opinion?

Obviously that is an extreme example, but my point stands. If sheep (or anyone) wants to be angry with gamespot for flopping a game thatthe vast majority of gamerswill consider to be a AAA game and accuse gamespot for not being able to fully appreciate the game then why shouldn't they have that right?

People have the right togive their opinion onwhat they think is a poor review just as much as gamespot has the right to give their opinion on what they think is a good, bad, or great game.
