I was a fanboy

My friend and me decided to jump over our fanboys minds and try to do something different for change, he is a PS3 ultimate fan and I am an ultimate X360 fan, and for this holiday season we decided to give the other system a try so I bought a x360 60 gig falcon with Geow 2 as a Christmas present and he bought a ps3 80 gig with Mgs4 as a Christmas gift as will, and the result for this experience was amazing: I never knew how fanboy I was until I started playing Mgs4, ….. Yes I admit it it's a perfect 10, and now I think I can give a detailed honest comparison between these two consoles:

-I was shocked by the silence of PS3 there is no sound at all…. X360 is really loud, and awful I already got 2 RROD.

-The x360 is better, but the ps3 controller is unique also: the built in battery is great and the rumble is better than the rumble in the 360

- The ps3 dashboard is better and more stylish than the 360 new experiences.

-The games: I saw the ps3 library at my friend house its identical with my library except for exclusive, both have great ones,

-The online: XLIVE is the best by miles -The media: the PS3 is a crown winner with its blu-ray movies and internet browser.

-The future: I think we know what Sony has in their bags for the next year and its great … still waiting for Microsoft.

Now I own both, I can't be happier as a gamer.

The silence is the first thing i noticed about it when I turned it on for the 1st time. However i keep my PS3 in a entertainment center with a door that shuts tight and very little ventilation and its fans WILL kick on full speed and make a very audible white noise if I have it on for 30 mins or so with door shut. Of course a 360 in the same conditions would die in a half hour so cant complain.

i myself prefer the ds because of the games are mostly my type, and both the console and games are cheap. check my page to see the games i own so far ( just got my ds)

Cool. That's the way to be. I mean, it's fair to have your preferences, but being a fanboy takes to much time and energy lol.

For me:
Games- the same as of now, but PS3's future is more appealing.
Online- same core features. XBL is better overall though, but PSN has improved SO much just this year alone, plus its free.
Media- Blu-ray, browser, multimedia interface design excells the PS3.
Controller- 360's pad is more comfortable and the sticks have better resistance to them.
DS3's rumble is better and the d-pad/face buttons are designed and respond better.
Hardware- I think we all can agree on this...
