I was wrong about COD4

IMO ur wrong now and were right before, well gameplay is awesome but graphics are a jokemingo123

well that's what I thought till I noticed the little things that impressed me

Can't believe they pulled off 60 fps

Graphics are top notch, and it's just the iceing on what is prob the best gameplay out there for an FPS.

for the best experience you need to play the campaign on veteran mode. there might be frustrating parts in the game due to the difficulty, but makes the game more enjoyable imo especially once you beat it. istreakforfood

yea i was able to do it after couple of tries. it was really challenging because of the time limit you have on rescuing the hostages. they have some youtube clips on how some ppl did it. just type high mile club under the search. i was able to watch a video to get the idea on how to do it, but i couldnt do some of the things he did so i ended up improvising.

i'm stuck at the tv station where the big battle in the main room happens. How do you get passed that?

you have to go to where the marker is telling you to go, but you dont have to be at that exact spot. as long as you are near it and defend agaisnt the terrorist for certain time you will proceed to the next checkpoint. i took cover between the the small rooms that are near the marker.

well they are true, maybe you are too blind to see the truth? IW just added few useless paritcleswhichfly around for no reason (seriously whats the point of white dots flying all over the place lol?) and added flashy lighting and rain to cod2 + gave it modern theme....and you get cod4...so amazing :roll:

just got cod4 for 360 an hour ago and i hopped in multiplayer already, man it was insanely brutal. although i got my butt kicked i still enjoy playing.

Well I must need my eyes checked out, as I think COD4 is one of the best looking games to date. I also think people like you just like to be the "ONE" that has to be different and put a great game down.

The "Pretty Rain" ( its not even that good ) is put off my the Playstation1 graphics Ocean waves ... I mean my god its awful :P

yah its pretty ugly lol i played cargo ship mission again yesterday and it looks mediocre...and look at the way ship is moving, lol its like its sinking in plain black mud or something

I agree. the gameplay, pacing, and graphics all 'wowed' me. I honestly don't know what those who aren't satisfied with the graphics want from a game...some of the levels looked like RL to me. Even in multiplayer (The Blue Room in Crash looks uber-realistic IMHO) the graphics are astounding...and never seem to dip below 60 fps.VScalar

i want a texture upgrade and not cod2 set in modern times with little fluffy white dots flying around missions for no reason

I've been playing it often online for PC...it's great.
