That is exactly how the sheep reacted! :PComplete madness I tell you. In my two and a halfyears here that was by far the most insane I've ever seen this board.
The internet burned for a few days because of that score. It was hilarious IMO. I'm hoping that another one of the high profile games coming out this winter gets a 8.5 or 8.0 as well. I'll be sure to grab the popcorn and LOL.

Yeah i have it and i never een finished it, i got bored...i tried to play it again the other day but i havnt played in so long i have no idea what im supposed to be doing....
and after playing my 360 and ps3 on HDTV the Wii just looks so awful....i think it might even deserve lower than an 8.5...

It only scored AA on GS, most other publishing magazines and sites scored it AAA. Overall score (gamrankings) is AAA. GOTY contendor. The hype was lived up to, just not on GS.

It's guarenteed to happen, there are so many games with AAA hype coming out this winter
it was such a granddd day, it was. sheep comitting suicide here and there, and all the lemmings and cows and hermits stood on the side lines, laughing, laughing at all the sheep in the land....
i miss those days, guess we'll have to wait for the next zelda until then...

Who knows, but it is bound to happen considering the amount of games being hyped this winter and not all of them are going to live up to expectations. If they do, then I'm going to be broke. :(

Except for lemmings and cows??? I think you might have messed up some wording. Personally I generally agree with the review though I would rate it a little higher myself, like say low AAA. It was still a great game after all, despite it's faults.
Well, half the sheep gets permabanned. The funny thing is that if you open a new account and said that you get a permabanned you get permabanned again. So let said that i know someone who after a year here and a level 17 get permabanned that day for bashing Jeff and his fiasco review.

Except for lemmings and cows??? I think you might have messed up some wording. Personally I generally agree with the review though I would rate it a little higher myself, like say low AAA. It was still a great game after all, despite it's faults.
Lemmings and Cows would naturally be estatic that a high profile game on a rival console "flopped", correct?
There is no mistake in my wording. As far as the game though, I ended up rewarding it an 8.4. I was extremely disappointed.

Mostly everyone just brushed it off. The real time Internet exploded was with GTA 4's trailler's release. Sites went down, it was e-apocalypse. TP's rating - meh.

It is sad too because Jeff gave the game pretty much what it deserved. In fact I would have gave the game a .1 or .2 below his score. Pretty cool of GS to take the bullet for the rest of the gaming community and not overrated it, which is pretty much what every other gaming site/mag did.

It was Jeff's opinion, just as the other sites have their own opinions. Jeff is the good guy because he gave it a lower score? I thought it was excellent. I think it was low AAA worthy but I don't necesarily disagree with the review.
