I wish Dreamcast 2 was here instead of the Xbox 360.

I was thinking about it just now, how dam cool the Dreamcast was and how many amazing games it had. If Sega was able to get sequels or re-inventions of all those classics, keep them exclusives, and along with some new exclusives, i'd buy it.

It's too bad that it pretty much led to Sega's downfall.

Sega always had the best names for their consoles too...

My god, I can't even imagine how terrible the 3rd Party support would be for that console. The Dreamcast didn't get a lot of 3rd Party support because 3rd Party devs were mad at how quickly the Saturn was terminated, so imagine how many devs would be even madder about the DreamCast's short lifespan...

On the other hand, a new Sega console would certainly have a much cooler name than this generation's consoles, that's for sure...

I remember the old Dreamcast,

- Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 (Which kinda was lame)

- MDK2 (Was super awesome, but lame because you had to use the buttons to move, damn you Sega for not including a second anolog! Come on, that game let you dual wield 6 weapons at once! From a dog with 8 legs.)

- Carrier (Awesome rip off of the bad camera angles from Resident Evil)

That's sort of it from my 8 year old experience, but I played some of these games when I was older... just had to dust off the... dust of the dream.

no.. i want sega to actually care about the games they make again, cause after they became just a dev. theyve sucked... i want a good sonic, shenmue, and others. I just like sega better than nintendo, and the wii isnt as different as everyone says, the best games are sequels, or dont even use the wiimote at all i.e. brawl, or would be better with a standard controller, like galaxy

Many aspects of the controller I thought were very well designed. It may have only had the one stick, but it was a lot smoother and precise, even compared to the analogs on modern controllers.The analog triggers were an awesome idea that was inevitable copied by all the console makers. And even the VMU was a handy addition IMO.

Graphics outdated? Come on, at that point PS2 games really didn't look any better.

I wouldn't mind if it was just Nintendo vs Sega again. Those were some great days!Sooshy

Yeah the Sega Genesis and SNES were the best consoles in my opinion.
