another such good 1st party as Turn 10, only in different genre(s).
Who's with me?
Considering such small amount of 1st parties for Microsoft, it's almost unreal to think that they have someone that good.

The balance is swinging away from MS i think.[QUOTE="Salt_The_Fries"]

i wish M$ would respect the gaming industry instead of trying to monopollize it by buying out excluisves, rely primarily on profiting off Live and dlc and having little to do with 1st party support The game industry isnt the same as the computer industry and microsoft hasnt recognized this yet. They get good dlc, good XBLA games, and multiplates but their excluisves arent anything to brag about. Sony has it down on what makes a console good, and that is great first party games, excelent downloadable games, and still keeping multiplates.[QUOTE="Salt_The_Fries"]

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what we think of M$ shrinking 1st party support and devs, because the masses just care about the multiplats, and that's all that's really needed.
The Hardcore's are satified with the Exclusive DLC/Timed Multiplat Exclusives.
If M$ didn't use their money for DLC/Timed Multiplats, then we would see more money going towards first party, but that wasn't working out so well.
It's a different strategy, and besides, we already bought our 360's, this plan is to win over NEW customers, and it's working.
microsoft is just milking out the halo series, what other great exclusive do they have in their future?nhl0994How are the milking halo?
who thought MS had creativity??? last time i checked they only had a lot of money to throw around to get ppl onboard with the console MS has always been this way and its why there isnt much in the exclusive pipeline unless they stumble apon another hit like the did with bungie

They had to make sure their brand is relevant when videogames are mentioned, that was their strategy from the beginning, third parties makes or brakes a console.
MS needed to be competitive and their first party were/are not as good as nintendo's or Sony's because MS weren't hiring console developers, what they are doing is great for them at the time being, they must establish their first party and hire some good talent that knows how to deal with console gamers demands, RARE, not so much, they need new blood for RARE to bring back their glory days.
Turn 10 is a developer for racing games so it's easy to attract any type of gamer.

Yes, Sony took it seriously by buying any devs they could to keep those devs from producing for anyone sle. Heck if MS bought out as many devs as Sony did, everyone would be screaming. Sad part is all of Sony's devs seem to be unable to produce anything worth playing...

What do you mean? Their devs have basically made all the quality titles on the PS3 thus far. It's called being a fanboy I do love the response though. All fanboys seem to love the "if" clause. They all take so much ownage from what isn't or never was.
And I do wish they had a few more first party. I do think Sony may have taken it a bit excessively, since it has to be expensive to maintain that many studios, but oh well. I do like Rare and Lionhead, but you can only work those guys so hard to produce so many titles.

I am confused by the logic you expressed......At the end of the day exclusive (anything) are factors that constituent monopolizing industries. With that said... how did MS "disrespect" the gaming industry "if" they bought out previous exclusive titles? If anything MS opened the door so there is less monopolizing and more competition in the market... Games going multi-plat had more to do with the cost of developing than anything MS has done.
What you have said is completely backwards and does not make any sense in the content you provided.
