I Wish They Would Have Did Cross Console Play In CoD 4

Seems like to me the servers on PS3 are set up the same way they would be set up on Live I wander why they just didn't do cross console play.-Renegade

Most of the people i come across online are alot older than 12. Your fanboyism is really showing. I've also come across little kids on resistance so whats your point. Your gonna have the occasional younger crowd online as well. Don't think that only older people play games on playstation. I know way more younger people that had the ps2 over the xbox.

The only game I ever had a problem with the XBL community was Halo 2. My guess is that even with CoD 4 out, all of the kids will stick to Halo because they think it is the best game ever made. I would say it is safe to play CoD 4.Wasdie

I really think COD4 is not intended for the younger crowd much like Halo is. COD4 seems to be a hardcore gamers game. Halo 3 depending on the difficulty can be a casuals game or hardcore gamers game. I agree its probably safe to say that COD4 won't have the younger crowd online much.

Based on the things I saw from the Ratchet review (GS is teh biased because they don't agree with everyone else! :cry: ) and dating all the way back to the Resistance Review nearly a year ago, you'd be hard pressed to get me to believe Cows are the most mature of the gaming population.

And the reason you don't hear people dropping F bombs left and right on PS3 online games is because no one has a freaking headset. Seriously. I loaded up a 32 player match of Resistance the other day and only 2 people had one. if Sony had actually bundled one with the system like MS did, I can guarantee you the PSN wouldn't be any better than Live.

Doesn't matter as it's besides the point. All of party A's belligerent degradations of party B are for nothing because there isn't some invisible force that drives players of varying skill levels to purchase certian consoles accordingly.

My guess is that the two networks, PSN and XBL arn't something you can just throw together and hope they mesh. I'm not a technician so I couldn't really go into specifics, but I'm willing to guess there is more to getting PSN and XBL to operate together than just wanting them too.
