Just like the Saturn originals and using the Wii pointer to aim.
I think that would be very cool indeed.

I think it work really well I do love those types of Rail Shooters. I'm also looking forward to Sin & Punishment: Star Successor.
Yeah, it was watching a video of this game that actually made me think how cool a version of Panzer Dragoon would be on Wii.I think it work really well I do love those types of Rail Shooters. I'm also looking forward to Sin & Punishment: Star Successor.

It plays even better than it looks. :D
Best soundtrack for any videogame series too.

I'm really looking forward to playing Sin and Punishment 2
:)
Since it's a Rail Shooter, I doubt it'll sell that much better if a game were to be made.In the unlikely event that Sega would ever create a new Panzer Dragoon game, I imagine the Wii is where it will go. Having said that, it might enjoy better sales on the 360 or PS3.

Ive only played Panzer Dragoon Orta; dont have the privelage of owning a Saturn, or the money to import.
But from what I have played of the series, it would fit really well on the Wii. Hopefully Sin and Punishment 2 will propel a new Panzer Dragoon game (and a Starfox game, too).
These kind of rail shooters I like :D
Any idea what to call those ones?Ive only played Panzer Dragoon Orta; dont have the privelage of owning a Saturn, or the money to import.

Hell yeah. Would work very well with Wiimote. [QUOTE="eveileb-ekam"]Any idea what to call those ones? Well I actually call these type of games rail shooters (Star Fox, Panzer Dragoon, Sin & Punishment 2 etc) and I call the other ones arcade style gun games or just gun games (Dead Space Extraction, House of the Dead: Overkill, Virtua Cop, Gunblade, Time Crisis etc)...Ive only played Panzer Dragoon Orta; dont have the privelage of owning a Saturn, or the money to import.

Any idea what to call those ones? What do you mean? Games like Panzer Dragoon Orta, Sin and Punishment and Star Fox are rail shooters as much as House of the Dead or Dead Space Extraction, or whatever, but they preserve a different feel than those games, often being faster paced, and you are able to see your character on the screen. I suppose a better distinction would be modern shoot em ups and light gun games, but theyre all on rails to me. And Im burnt out on light gun games. As much as I loved Extraction, I prefered Sin and Punishment on the VC more.Ive only played Panzer Dragoon Orta; dont have the privelage of owning a Saturn, or the money to import.

I would love to see a Panzer Dragoon on any system now, though I agree, the Wiimote would be a great way to control. I loved Panzer Dragoon Orta on the original XBOX.

well onrail shooters from sega sold quite well on the wii house of the dead was a million sellerIn the unlikely event that Sega would ever create a new Panzer Dragoon game, I imagine the Wii is where it will go. Having said that, it might enjoy better sales on the 360 or PS3.

sega should get this on the wii with balance board support

Oh God no, not the balance board.
Would love to see that.
I remember playing Orta on the Xbox. It was one of the reasons I was so happy to have gone with the Xbox early on last gen.
It would give me more reason to spend $200 on a Wii though. I already have way more than enough reasons to justify the purchase, but I have way more than enough responsibilities keeping me from buying one! Makes me so sad
Gross, no, put it on an HD console. I own all the games, including Panzer Dragoon Saga (best JRPG ever, sorry FFVII) and it would be awful to see a new PD game on a less-than-capable console like the Wii.Just like the Saturn originals and using the Wii pointer to aim.
I think that would be very cool indeed.

Controlling your ship, dodging enemies, collecting power ups etc >>>>>> just shooting at stuff you have no control over. In other words I hate lightgun games but like rail shooters :PIve only played Panzer Dragoon Orta; dont have the privelage of owning a Saturn, or the money to import.
