No
It's Microsoft exclusive though.. Still almost EVERYONE owns a PC and if they really want to play a 360/PC only game (Ahem Alan Wake) they can upgrade it.
.. Alan Wake better not be an exclusive.
If a PS3 game is also on the PC is it considered an exclusive?SpiritOfFire117No its Not. It is something truly stupid to call a game an exclusive when you can play it on a completely different platform, there are some grey areas in this subject though. NGS2 for example Heck even Gamespot called it a Ps3 exclusive, the game is not just a port or a remake, the added parts go way beyond NG2. Does it count as a Ps3 exclusive? HELL YEAH IMO.

NO! An exclusive is a game only on ONE platform. If PC/360 games count as exclusives, PS2/PS1 games should count as PS3 exclusives, which is just a stupid idea in general, so no. Although lemmings like their terms "microsoft exclusive" and "console exclusive" oh and my favorite "exclusively not on PS3"SilverChimeraexclusively not on Ps3 is most hilarious. Our Ps3 games are exclusively not available anywhere else.

[QUOTE="MJ4040"][QUOTE="Puckhog04"]Who cares? We are talking about CONSOLES here. Who cares about the pc anyways.Final Fantasy 14 isn't exclusive. Stop the double standards children. If L4D2, ME2, and SC: Conviction aren't 360 exclusives then neither is FFXIV and The Agency.
Though if FFXIV is good i'll be playing it on PS3. But it still isn't exclusive.
deleterguy
So according to cows Final Fantasy 14 counts as exclusive.
If a game is on 360 and PC, it's a "console exclusive", but does not simply qualify as "exclusive". That way 360 gamers are happy that PS3 gamers can't play it (unless of course they have a PC), and PS3 gamers are happy that it's not completely exclusive. This is more for general dicussion though. For comparing it when you're just talking about AAAE titles, then no it would not count.

Read the posts above one or two guys dont speak for the vast majority. One offers a LOT more and improves the shared part in several aspects, graphics among them. It makes sort of sense to consider each separate version an exclusive. But I'll chalk off the 360 version as an AAE and include NGS2 as a Ps3 one because i can, no fairness.
J/k.
No, the PC is consider a system and anything that is available on both the XBox 360 and PC are multiplats game, though I will give that it is a Microsoft exclusive but nothing else.
I consider it Microsoft exclusive. Most PS3 fanboys will say it's multiplat. But Sony and Nintendo have handhelds they share games with, Microsoft has the PC. Same concept.i7Crisisx
This is a fair assessment. I believe Ubisoft used this term in describing Splinter Cell: Conviction...

In SW, there are no company exclusives.

Not even friggin close to the same concept. There's no such thing as 'microsoft exclusive' or 'console exclusive'. Those are the gayest terms used here in SW. It's pathetic that people think that microsoft has even an ounce of control over PC gaming.
PC gaming isn't owned, operated, ran, etc by ANY company and that is what gives it all the advantages it has over consoles.
Stop with this insanity and gain some perspective on what's real and what isn't.
It's a console exclusive.
The other consoles still don't have it...
hanslacher54
It's multiplat. Another system besides the 360 has those games.

diff brands tho. All exclusive PlayStation games are on PlayStation consoles so in that sense games like mbl arenot muitiplatform (business model) but they are muilitplatform (hardware model)
but the xbox brand is diff from the windows brand so games across those two systems are always muiltiplatform in business sense and hardware sense

No, you're not. If a game is a console exclusive, it's a console exclusive. Exclusive /= console exclusive. Mass Effect 2 is a console exclusive. But is it an EXCLUSIVE? No.

fail harder
look up the meaningof the word exclusive.
when you put the word exclusive in front of a word it implies whatever it is can only be found used or w.e on that word. whatever it is. in terms of gaming whatever system or systems are before the word exclusive.
that said console exclusive implies you can only play that game on a console
thus if its on a system that isnt a console its not a console exclusive
Mass Effect 2 is on the pc. the pc is not a console. therefore it is not a console exclusive.
really not hard
and on that note.
its not a MS exclusive nor is it a 360 exclusive.
its a multiplat or if you really want to twist things its a pc/360 exclusive. which implies its exclusively on those two systems only.
that is the only way you can use the word exclusive to describe games that are only on the pc and 360.
It's a multiplat.
It's not an exclusive.
The term console exclusive and Microsoft exclusive are terribly illogical; they were basically invented to by Lemmings to try and assuage their library sharing so much with the PC.
It's a multiplat. Just like the Agency is, just like FF14 will be. No exceptions.
MY pc is not a gaming machine in any way. I avidly follow all games being released for 360 and PS3 but I never even go to the PC section. I am a console gamer. So if a game is released on both 360 and PC its a 360 game to me, and to everyone else that doesn't game on PC, and we are Legion btw.
No, its a direct contradiction to the idea of "exclusive". A game on two platforms is on multiple platforms, therefore it is multiplatform. For a game to be exclusive it must only be available on one platform. This has been discussed many times over and over and it wont ever change, 360/PC games are not exclusive.
Heres the rules if anyone needs a refresher http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=25865702
So if I don't own a 360 or PS3, I can call Grand Theft Auto 4 a PC exclusive? And actually, the PC is a far, far more popular system than any console.MY pc is not a gaming machine in any way. youre experience or what you game on or care about doesnt change the meaning of the word exclusive. ive made this point countless times. by your logic every game i own is a pc exclusive including batman AA and HL2 and fallout 3 and halo 2 because i dont care about console gaming

here is a simple guide seriously it cant be much more simple than this
console exclusive = only on the consoles = not on PC = FF13
ps3 exclusive = only on the ps3 = not on the pc,360,wii,ds,ect = KZ2
360 exclusive = only on the 360 = not on the ps3,pc,wii,ect = gears 2
pc exclusive = only on the pc = not on the consoles = STALKER
wii exclusive = only on the wii = not on the pc,360,ps3,ect
sony exclusive = only on a sony platform = not on anything sony doesnt own = LBP
MS exclusive = only on a MS platform = not on a platform MS doesnt own = gears 2
[NOTE]MS does not own the PC platform not even GFW, if its on the pc its not an MS exclusive[NOTE]
now that said the only way you can use the word exclusive when talking about pc/360 games is to say pc/360 exclusive. since the word exclusive can apply to a group of things but as long as that group is stated.
You guys are missing my point. If Buck rogers owns a PC and not a PS3 and a game comes out on 360 and PS3 then Buck can't play it. It is effectively an exclusive.

no its not. seriously now.
answer me this are
HL2 doom3 fallout 3 GT4 DMC4 street fighter 4 madden 08 NBA 2k9 batman AA gears of war and halo 2 all pc exclusives since i dont own a console?
No, we caught your point. It's just asinine. It's not exclusive, you just have restricted access. It's still a multiplatform game. You guys are missing my point. If Buck rogers owns a PC and not a PS3 and a game comes out on 360 and PS3 then Buck can't play it. It is effectively an exclusive.
