If a Final Fantasy VII remake were made?

Which platform do you really think Square Enix would put it on?

Not which you'd like it to be on, but which they'd probably do.

Options: DS- Most popular game system today and on the way to outsell the GB, PS2. 50 million units in almost 3 years and Ninty will get a good 4 to 5 years more out of this one.

PS3- A high tech remake for a console that needs the potential sales boost. FF 7 is to some people what symbolically killed the N64's chances of outselling the PS1, and honestly makes this gen a battle between Ninty and Sony in my eyes. This would be a huge deal for Sony

PSP- No the most popular system. Hell, only 4 games in 3 years have hit the million mark due to many many many illegal endeavors performed by its userbase. 2 of those platnium hits were only in Japan (guess which franchise?)

Wii- It has to be in the arguement coz its the leader now. I don't think it'll happen. I frankly don't care. I've always been a Ocarina of Time kinda guy but with sales comes games. Maybe SQ ENIX doesn't want a major FF installment on the little white box that could, and it can put remakes. Afterall there already are 2 final fantasy games coming out for the Wii next year.

360- Wait 360? No way. I don't even believe this. If you're going for the high tech thing they might as well go for the PS3 coz nothing and I mean nothing will make the Japanese buy an American product and that is why the GameCube passed the Xbox this year and why MS can't win. I'm sorry you might as well make it for the more powerful system (ps3) with the great new format (BR) and the japanese community's support.

So which do you think would get it if it ever happened?

Do you understand that the 360's best and biggest market is north america?

and that they might as well make it for the PS3 since they, y'know seem to know it better and LIKE IT BETTER.
