if console devs read forums, i bet microsoft is scared to death.

sure play only has one decent launch game and a few games with added move control but the tech is proven to work and most games will probably be six-axis compatible. microsoft already screwed everything up with the price and i am sure that other then dance and exercise games, nothing else will be worth a ****. plus, the target audience will not by another exercise game, a 360, and the kinect if they already have a wii. and the only person who will by kinect are those with a wii, those with to much money, or those with the common sense of an empty phone booth.

i am sure microsoft already knows it is gonna fail (other then the voice chat for shooters), so i bet we will see a new 360 sooner rather then later to try and heal their wounds. oh how the mighty fall so quickly............

You are unfortunately confusing SW for reality. A common mistake made in this forum.

I really don't see Move being a big hit. Now, I may eat my words, but thats how I feel.

And tbh, MS has dropped the ball. They've swapped places with the Wii. Nintendo now has an excellent library while the 360, like the Wii in the past, only has one or two big hits this fall.

Kinect will more than likely be a huge, smashing, money-grubbing success for MS... I doubt very much they're worried about anything right now

Yes because a website like this one accounts for more than 50% of the consumer base. I doubt we even reach the .5% mark.

Yes, companies look at forums. No they do not take our advice. They take what we say, put it in a giant machine, and somehow glean useful information about gamers from this nonsensical wasteland. We have no clue what our comments mean to companies.

Only thing that's going to fail is move, it's being released in 16 days, and I doubt you knew that, or anyone else for that matter. Kinect is going to be a huge success, because they have Justin Bieber, which appeals to girls, who are usually casual gamers. Oh and why would MS be scared to death, they have Kinect and Halo: Reach, both will be raking them in millions, and you'll see a huge amount of 360 sales in the weeks reach and kinect are released.

You think they care what the core gaming market thinks, lol? They are clearly going all in with Kinect, and are banking on making a dent in the casual market. Why do you think that the core exclusive line-up looks so incredibly weak beyond Halo Reach? Microsoft has switched gears and the proof is in the pudding.

Yes, because all they have is exclusives, and I don't see why you're worrying about 2011, when it's 2010.

I know I bought my 360 for exclusives, and I am looking at 2011 because we are approaching the end of the year. Normally there are plenty of exclusives announced by this time. Just look at what Sony already has announced. What does the 360 have... Gears 3 and a game by Crytek that we know nothing about?

If you bought your 360 for multiplats, then good for you. I own all the systems and bought them for the exclusives that each offers. As of now, the 360 has squat lined up for next year and as an owner of a 360 who happens to value exclusives, it bothers me. Sorry if you cannot understand that.

If forums spoke the truth then MW would not be the worlds most successful entertainment property, the Wii Fit would have sold as well as an expensive paper weight, the Wii as well for that matter, PC gaming would be dead or dying, Halo would not be successful, and so very much more.

The software sales speak for themselves: 360 is a winner. Videogame forums are so far removed from reality that no respectable dev would take 99% of the drivel written on here seriously.

actually there was an article in EGM magazine a few years ago where they interviewed a whole range of Devs.

I remember one dev sayin "Fanboys don't know what they are talking about".LOL:lol:

In one of Gametrailers "invisible Walls" episode Shane was aghast as to why some of his fellow staff even looked at Fanboy posts- simply because it wasfunny stuffreally!

Probably...it's a stark contrast talking about games here in SW and going to Gamestop meeting up with fellow gamers who are just buying games based on how cool the box cover looks :?.

Microsoft doesn't care about us or anybody criticising Kinect, their games, or their decisions. What we say is irrevelant when they have the marketing budget to buy a whole country.

People on forums are tiny fraction of the market. Probably less than 1%.

Nobody is going to get bent out of shape over what happens here. Most probably just laugh it off.

Upparoom

Same with Sony as they don't care what people here say about Move, "teh Graphics" king threads etc..

It should also be apparent now in regards to Nintendo Wiis success that Nintendo and the people who buy the Wii and the games don't care about what SW and fanboys here say no matter how "Hardcore" people feel they are here.
