Not when it's obvious it's a fake hype. You see, say, a cow making threads about how Mass Effect will be the next Big Rigs for days and days, and in the official hype thread he puts AAAA... well, you just kinda have to wonder.

*sigh* the problem with system wars.. to many people focus on whether a game lived up to the "hype" as stated by system wars. The result is great games get dismissed because they didn't achieve what people here expected gamespot to give it in terms of a score.
