If Gears of War 2 extended Preview or Demo came out for $40... would you buy it?

Tell me this... all of you guys hating the GT5 Prologue cause it a extended demo or early game preview that cost $40, however, let say if Gears of War 2 extended demo or preview came out that cost $30 to $40.. would you buy it? Also if the demo included with a game that you weren't willing to buy that cost $60 but it come with that demo... would you buy that game just for the Gears of War 2 demo?

Yes because I love GEow and if I loved GT I would buy GT5P.

I would not buy a 1-2 lvl demo though no way no how and fortunatly this hasn't happened.........YEt

Mario Kart Prologue at $30 would have been a better example.

I think Gran Theft Auto is a better comparison.

If GTA was released with 1/3 of the city, and online play Over a year before the final release i'm sure it would move at least one million

No I wouldn't buy it, because Gears is a different game from GT5. Gears of War is what, 8 hours tops? The second will likely be the same length, therefore making the demo short. GT5 on the other hand has tons of cars, tracks, etc to have fun and fool around with, making the "preview" much longer. Still not worth the $40 though.

Geow 2

killzone 2

Final Fantasy 13

Metal Gear solid 4

Resident evil 5

Silent Hill 5

and i pretty much did with halo3 because i bought crackdown just for the beta, and only played crackdown for like 10 minutes.

and thats pretty much it, nothing else seems to interest me enough, or im not a big enough fan of the series to want to pay that much for a very early preview of a game

GT4 PROLOGUE: 1.5 Million+ Sold (Europe)
Gran Turismo 4: 9 Million+ Sold

The series was over 48 million sold before GT5: P ever came out. And GT5:P is already over 1 million.

Lems cry because Gran Turismo is a BEAST. And the onl fair comparison (with fanbase)really is Gran Theft Auto. Which people WOULD buy a preview for, don't kid yourself

This gen is pretty much the opposite of that.

Even in small games like The Godfather, paid DLC, like more guns, etc, is free on the ps3 version *and* the wii version.

Just between you, me & the fence post, I might be willing to buy say a magazine for 5.00 if it had a demo of Gears 2 on it but that was then and this is now where MS offers the demo for free and I don't want that to change.

Because GTA 4 has more than a hundred hours of gameplay. GT5 Prologue has 1 hour of gameplay at best.
