You do know that there is a chance PS3 could get some Content down the line dont you? I really couldnt see MS only getting content. WHy would rockstar miss out on the chance of milking both User groups. black_awpN1

the ps3 version will get content..it just wont equal to what the 360 will be getting.

Is there serial content as good as what is found in HL2? Have you seen most console games and their expansions? It's not pretty, and overly costly.

What's the point anyways?

Episodic content should be released every half year or so. If they are going to do the samething Valve has done, which really defeats the purpose of episodic content, by releasing it every year and a half or two years, then they just might as well make a new game.

If anything, I think whatever Rockstar has cooked up for Microsoft is only a timed exclusive.

do you have an link to a article stating that? because the way how i remember it is that the 360 version will be the only one getting this content that microsoft is paying 50 million for. i don't recall reading anything about rockstar not being able to make ANY downloadble content for the ps3 version.

Rockstar stated that There will be exclusive content to the ps3.

Many weeks after rockstar stated that 360 got exclusive content, Rockstar said that they should give ps3 exclusive content also.

I'm guessing the 2 exclusivs contain the 2 episodic content and some new features but different on both platforms.

True, but then there is also the possibility that GTAIV could just suck all around so the exclusive content would be released in vain...All titles (regardless of budget) can crash and burn. But Im sure if the core game is decent, the exclusive content should be around the same quality.

I highly doubt GTA4's episodic content will be as long/ deep as HL2's. If somehow it is, then that is definatley a reason to buy the 360 version over the PS3 version.TREAL_Since

Well hopefully Rockstar gets it right this time and actually releases episodic content that is more then just a downloadable weapons pack or something stupid. The consoles haven't exactly set the bar high in terms of DL content.

Considering the PS3 and 360 are jsut as powerful as one another UNLIKE last gen. I really couldnt see one being better looking and playing better than the other. also, PSN is just as good as live in the sense you can play online and get content. THey also never ever said PS3 WOULDNT get content. and how the hell does making a good game automatically make the content a guranteed quality thing? I can remember some pretty half assed lame Add on contents.
