if halo 3 got AAAA on GS how big of ownage would that be?

I think it will get a 9.5 but lets just pretend it got AAAA status. How would this effect system wars? Also it isnt that out of the realm, a game called Tony Hawk 4 I believe got AAAA status so we can only wish. Regardless this awesome game will deliver AAA status and if it doesnt I will burn my 360 on you tube and run around naked wearing a PS3 saying how great the cell is....

Looking forward to that video but honestly the best it can physically do is 9.7, and 9.8 if your getting generouse but its possible of it slipping below 9 if it just does'nt live up this time round (new features, same formula, only games that have durastically changed since the sequel get 10, you know all new, never done before, really original and all that and though the new features may keep it in 9 zone *assuming everything else is sold* but if more than one thing is bad then were loking at an 8 zone score which would be the most humilating flop that sw has had in a long time)

It probably won't

The first Halo was so successful and highly acclaimed because it brought PC FPS style storytelling and AI along with various innovations in both the multiplayer and single player aspect.

The second halo was so successful and highly acclaimed not because it brought anything new or particularly well done, at least compared to the other console shooters coming out at that time, but because it is the sequel to the second.

The third halo might not be so highly acclaimed because reviewers (from the indication of the reviews of PC Halo 2 that the have finally come to their senses and not believe that light comes out of Bungie's every orifice. But it will still sell like hotcakes because once again it is a sequel to the first halo.

If they give Halo a 10 then give everything else like MP3 and stuff below a 9 then I'll just never read Gamespot's reviews cuz they are BIASEDjango7192

Hermits hate Halo more than anyone. It should be a fine poison pill for them to swallow. If they don't accept Halo as the greatest FPS after a AAAA rating for Halo3 then their entire subsection of fanboyism will be discredited for all time. So I'm hoping it happens.JiveT

I don't think they'll care about Halo 3 being "the best FPS evarr!!!" though they will get Crysis so they will have something to brag about too.

Remember when Halo 2 was 'teh bestest fps'and apparantly better than HL2 because it outscored it.... And then HL2 got FPS GOTY 04? A perfect example right there.

Honestly Halo 3 will scrore well on GS, and it will be a very good game - Hell im going to the launch party for a reason.

However in all seriousnes there is a strong possiblity the game can be misjudged, due to the hype. I think Halo 2 is testiment to that.

Still, compared to the current 360 FPS lineup, and jump it is from Halo 2 - Its obvius its going to score well.

Never the less as predicted lems are going to vaunt it as the best FPS ever, cows are going to call it overrated (and yes lemspot - like with GeOW), sheep dont care, and hermits will probably critise the hell out of it.

And just rember just because it score more doesent mean its a better game.... I think Halo 2 vs HL2 is a fantastic example......

Never the less as much as im looking foward to it, Bioshock WILL score better. Hell its my pick as GOTY this year, and it will probably outscore everything else - even though im not anticipating it nearly as much as other titles.
