And vice versa....really they have a lot of the same games, I was planning on getting a 360 (since I got a job :) ) but when I look at the gaming libary I see only a few games I would like to play. So do you guys think it would be stupid of me to choose saving a few hundred rather then spending it to play a couple of games?

If nothing on the 360 interests you don't buy it. Look at the exclusives for the 360 if they interest you then buy the console. If you look at past games you can also see that mutiplatform games run better and have scored higher ratings on the 360.

It is your choice but the deciding factors for me were the exclusives, and xbox live.

if u want to play 360 games, and its your cheapest option, i suggest buying a 360. i desperately want to play heavenly sword when it comes out, but i'm lucky cuz my roommate has one and plans on buying it anyways.

There's no need to buy a 360, you're better off putting that money towards your PC.Slashkice

I think if you never played on the 360 and Xbox Live, you could live without it, because you do not know what you're missing. I believe once you JUMP IN you'll realize that the game library of 360 are great and the massive online gaming community should keep your attention. Maybe the juggernaut of a game called Mass Effect will interest you. Plus multiplats are better on the 360 for whatever reason right now. Its just a matter of taste and right now the PS3 is kinda dull while the 360 is mouth watering and tasty.

There's nothing wrong with owning both. You get to play all the exclusives from both, and chose the multi-plat version that feels most comfortable with the given controller. I have not regretted owning either.

I guess somethings wrong with me because the only exclusives coming from the 360 I want to get my hands on are Bioshock, Forza 2, Dead Rising(lovedit), and GeOW(loved it).

I been really thinking about a 360 myself...(have the mightyCELL now). Anyways, only games worth buying on the 360 are Bioshock and GEOW and maybe that old zombie game (for cheap). Im very established on the PSN and will kick some booty next week in WARHAWK! I dont know, i see MGS4, FF13/V, GT5, Uncharted, UT3 and others on the PS3. I dont know if its smart to get a 360 for anyone inless you MUST have Halo 3 (i dont, i beaten the first two).Maybe someone can give me a reason....

I think EA is hobling the PS3 multiplats, artificially look the 360 grand daddy now works for EA, I'm sure he made them cut back the frame rates on the PS3... Politics suck...

Yes, I own every console and a good gaming rig, and I know firsthand that it's worth it.

I own a PS3, and 360 I will tell you now the 360 has the better library right now by far... I own 2 PS3 games, and 12 360 games, and most my 360 games are AAA, none of my PS3 games are AAA. Already played Oblivion, and Ninja Gaiden. PS3 software library sucks right now. I play more PS2 on my PS3. I play alot of 360 now BioShock. I just wonder how much longer the drought will be for the PS3??

Anyway, if you like great Arcade games, great exclusives like HAlo, GEOW, and BioShock, then by all means get it. But seperated from those titles their arent many diffrent games from PS3 to 360. I have great fun with my 360 and if I were you I would have bought 360 first since it is much cheaper....
