I would want the PSN to have all the same features as XBL. It would force MS to either add more content and features or make the service free. I can't believe how many posts I see now that the PSN Home info is leaked (which btw they outlined all this crap at E3 2006) that boast how XBL had it first, or how their ripping off XBL.

It's competetion, you do realize half the reason why MS does anything is because they want to take market share from Sony. If there was no Sony, they would just steam roll Nintendo and then relax back into pushing out crap and charging for it, like most versions of Windows. Neither one of the companies invented anything, they either aquired it through buying out other companies or they simply made thier own versions with the help of others. They both make promises they haven't lived up to and they both have had more than their fair share of problems.

You fanboys (on both sides) waste too much time slamming the other console. If it wasn't for them your system would not be anywhere near as good as it is. In the end it ain't gonna mean crap, Sony can and will do everything MS does and vice versa. All the ground work is there. The only ones I feel the least bit sorry for is the Nintendo fanboys, cuz the hard truth is the Wii is limited in more than just it's graphical abilities, and if Sony and MS wanted to, they could release a Wiimote of their own tomorrow. There's simply no technology inside the Wii that matters for motion sensing, it's all in the remote and the nunchuck, and even then it's based on technology available for years.

I don't expect this to spawn system wars peace or anything, but hopefully some of you start to realize how stupid all this fanboyism is.

^^ the thing is, the only thing that MS is charging for is the online play. Thats the one thing PSN has that is on par with XBL right now, so essentially what you pay for on XBL is the same as whats free on PSN.

All the other features of XBL are available to Silver members, which is free. I think the point is, MS shouldn't charge for online play, especially if they're giving access to everything else for free.

Cows dont want XBL's features. Most of XBL's fewatures are overdone and not neccessary. PSN as it is a far better service than XBLmassAttack2k

I own a PS3 and PSN is a pathetic joke compared to XBL.
