Eh, people are saying PS3 is lacking AAA and AA games. It has plenty of AA games, and it has one AAA game, plus, Resistance is definitely AAA worth it. Yea, it didn't score AAA here, but i think it should have. If PD0 scored AAA here, i don't see why this game isn't. Either way, i think PS3 has some decent games out right now, and it still doesn't have it's true killer app out yet, so i don't know why people are judging it so much. If i'm not mistaking, people weren't as crazy about the 360 before GeOW came out, and that was a year after the system itself was released. All i'm saying is, lets wait and see how the PS3 does when it's first true killer app comes out, because right now, it's still doing pretty good with the games it has out, keeping in mind that some good ones are coming out shorty, including Ninja Gaiden Sigma later this month.BrownWalrus

I am not trying to hand out 9.0 scores to every game available, i was simply saying that Resistance was a good game and it had the content worthy of an AAA score. Then again, this is the same site that gave TP an 8.6. I am simply trying to give the PS3 some credit since i really don't think it's doing as horrible as people here are saying. It is selling very poorly, but that's not what this discussion is about. I wasn't saying that the 360 doesn't have any good games, it definitely does, some of the best, but there's absolutely no denying that it wasn't doing as hot as it was before GeoW came out. Everybody in the world has different opinions on everything, on Gamespot we go by the (Gamespot) game reviewers opinion and no-one elses, there's plenty of games that have recieved AAA and i would've flopped and vice versa, but my opinion irrelevant on this forums, just like yours or any other users when it comes to scores.

Are you one of these people that think a console company only makes money if its beating the others on sales. The truth is even before Gears it was beating the competition and if Gears hadn't come out it still would be but not by as much with the Wii just about to pass it in sales. But then Forza 2 GRAW 2, R6: Vegas and so on would have helped save it but I guess you can say the 360 would have lost if it didn't have any AAA or AA titles. But thats a flawed arguement because if your gonna treat it like that I can take away Oblivion, Tekken 5, Defjam Icon and Fight Night and look back to see how the PS3 would have been doing and my idea is not very well atleast till MGS4 and others come out, and by then 360 should have Halo 3 and while I personaly feel Halo 3 is overrated and won't be so quick to snag my copy I'll admit its very likably and unbelievable popular and not many games on earth will be able to beat it at release.

The Xbox 360 has 19 Platinum sellers, more than any system right now.

If there were no Gears of War, that would make it 18 Platinum sellers. That is hardly a death, okay?

 The point is, Resistance didn't recieve an AAA, and as a result, we're basing reviews and scores on what did happen, not what should've happened in the eyes of biased people, as much as they try to admit they're not.

Last year Microsoft sold 1 million in December alone in the US.  At the end of the year microsoft will be at 15+ million easily.

If there was no Twilight Princess that existed, the Wii wouldn't have the same console sales.

Red Steel and some other stuff, which are Platinum sellers, were not much of tie-ins to consoles as TP was. So if you say Xbox 360 needed GoW, the Wii needed Twilight Princess.

Or if you actually want to be a rational person, you could say the entire sum of Xbox's 19 Platinum sellers helped the system, and so did the sum of games for the Wii. But no rational person would say this, they must make a villain out of everything.

ummmm...so? Most systems get pushed over the top by one game. GTA did for PS2 what Halo did for Xbox. If it wasn't for Halo would so many people be on the verge of buying a 360? If it weren't for Sony's reputation, I wouldn't have bought a PS3.
