I own both Lost Planet and Crackdown, and I love them both, but to be honest I still haven't beaten Lost Planet (gets pretty hard toward the end and actually kind of boring), but Crackdown has me playing for hours at a time. I'm sure once my friend gets Crackdown too I will be playing even longer. Â
Since I haven't played LP and I like Crackdown I'll have to go with Crackdown 2. And I hope that happens too, Crackdown is great but all over the place I can see places it could be built on and improved.
Most questions on here are easy, or "no brainers"... I just realized you asked a very good question (to me) because I like them both quite a bit, and they were both worthy of sequels... I guess I would say Crackdown 2, but I may be biased because I'm knee deep in the first one at the moment. Actually, Crackdown has better variety and very nice physics... it's a blast... Crackdown 2 for sure.
