This one fault is the only thing that is keeping the PS3 treading water. We would have another dreamcast replay if Microsoft had a better design.

if MS had spent more time on the design and made a better console they wouldnt have got the 1 year head start :?Mandingo101... and maybe if they didn't cut costs by having underfunded production facilities in china they wouldn't have much of a price advantage

Reyes360
If the 360 didn't have any hardware problems it would have been released along side with the PS3 and the Wii, thus elimintaing any advantage it would have recieved from being early.

maybe so but a head start was the right choice. A 3 year warranty is the bandage.
so what was the point of this thread then again? i agree it was the right choice, it was basically the only chance they had to get a sizable lead, but in the end if they cant get this hardware fiasco fixed, it could backfire on them. it already is, another 2 billion down the drain in this division, and the more faulty consoles they sell the more warranties they are handing out. the elite was suppose to fix the problems, it didnt, now these smaller chips are suppose too, who knows if they actually will.[QUOTE="Mandingo101"]if MS had spent more time on the design and made a better console they wouldnt have got the 1 year head start :?Reyes360

How is that a bandage dude?? Having your cosole break down on you and having to go through all the trouble tosend it to MSand recieving it about 5 days later isent really a bandage.....[QUOTE="Reyes360"][QUOTE="Mandingo101"]if MS had spent more time on the design and made a better console they wouldnt have got the 1 year head start :?Blanco98

if you don't think the ps3 has good games you're mistaken and probably haven't played or do not own a PS3.
And the PS3's lack of an extensive library of AA titles does not make it ok for MS to push faulty systems
