If Microsoft raised the XBL cost to $75 a year would you still pay for it?

Would you? You would still get the exact same service with nothing new. No for me.

Why the hell would they ever do that? They're getting crap for 50 USD a month anyway, they would be shooting themselves to raise the price.

Unless they give me some ungodly features, absolutely freakin' not. I'd prefer owning a PS3 rather then paying 75$ for XBL.

75 dollars a year to play my games online? I don't even pay for XBLG as it is....so no.

No, because it would be:

1. A huge rip-off

2. A deterrent to other people as well, meaning less people to play online with even if I did pay

Dude you have been able to get it for $30 for 13 months for along time now. I just bought one at K-mart but before that ToysRus had it and before that Best Buy. Anyone could easily go on Ebay and get it for cheaper.

No. Unless they have dedicated servers, a service like Home but much better, Free XBLA game once a month.

No... That simple.

I don't even pay the $50 a year, I buy the xbl card wherever they are on sale, have never paid more than $29.99.

But yeah, if they raised to $75, so even the sale cards were like $50, I wouldn't pay it, I don't play online much at all, I just have gold to get the gold sales on DLC, and the exclusive demos and stuff TBH.

Not like there's any choice if you play any online multiplayer games.

Sick of XBL.Some of there games lag like hell and even though your playing them €60 a month they give u notting for free where PSN has loads for free themes and better servers.

With dedicated servers? A very unlikely "maybe" answer from me. With the same service? Hell no. I begrudgingly pay $50 (albeit for the best online of any of the consoles), but I wouldn't pay a cent extra if M$ decided to charge more just because they can.

I only brought it up because lemmings like to take cheap shots in the first place. And other than L4D those aren't the most popular titles 360 have to offer. I like how Halo 3 and GOW 2 is being used by lemmings in every arguement, especially best online shooter titles. Yet somehowthey becomeless relevant than.....Bad Company whenever dedicated servers are mentioned.

As for L4D, not to bash it or anything, I haven't been playing it at all recently. Got it during the Steam weekend deal, played it non-stop, was a fun week while it lasted. Anyone still playing this?

I voted NO. Im actually calling in tomorrow to cancel my GOLD LIVE as I dont think its worth it any longer and I just dont have the money these days for junk I dont need.

After this I will NEVER pay to play online again....Other than my normal cable bill..

Going from $50/yr to $75/yr takes us out of impulse-buy territory and into a price range where one would have to think about what he or she is getting for that money.

Having said that, I would pay it, no problem. Xbox Live delivers far more than $75 worth of entertainment every year.
