hmm i never had any problems with my ps2 and had it since launch and it works better than the slim which my brother has :|

same with me. i got the big ps2. i think people dont follow some safety measures that are instructed in the manual. had my ps2 for over 2 years.

then again. if there really is a problem even if users follow and abide by the safety measures... then i must be one of the lucky ones *knocks on wood*... o man something better not happen im getting into buying ps2 games now when all of them are really cheap.
